We came here today just for the 大饼卷一切, and it was absolutely delicious. The braised meat, tofu, cucumber, egg, and sweet bean sauce all came together perfectly. The flavor and texture were rich without being overwhelming. The service is warm, patient, and genuinely focused on quality. Last time we visited, they even refused to sell us the wrap because the pancake wasn’t freshly made — a level of integrity that’s really rare. We also packed some braised snacks to go; the chef’s knife skills are amazing, and Lucy even offered us a tasting to make sure we liked the flavor. Highly recommended!
Stop by for a quick lunch to go and bought a bbq chicken and lemon tea to try at home. The wrap I got was honestly quite terrible, the wrap was cardboardy, the meat was tough and dry, and the sauce was way too salty and had a bitter taste to it.. I threw most of it away. As a northerner myself, the “北方烧鸡” (northern style bbq chicken) was not authentic, or good at all. It was also quite pricy, $13 for a tiny bird. I also got a lemon tea to try, I should’ve known it wasn’t going to be good when she was reading instructions while making it, and poured some unknown ingredient from an orange jug into it… my husband and I each took one sip and just threw the rest of it out, it didn’t even taste like lemon tea, just a foul chemical taste, another $7 down the drain. I really wanted to like this place, but everything I got was terribly disappointing, even without the high price, I would not recommend.
I went for dinner. This plate of food is not worth $14. The food is cold. I ordered pork intestine, hog, and pig ear........ basically all taste the same sayo sauce. The egg is not only cold but dry as well. The presentation is disappointing as well.
This’s my first time visiting and tried their 鹵味四喜飯. It’s delicious and the portion was generous. The staff, Lucy was helpful and friendly with her smile on.
The lady working at the cashier spoke english and was super friendly. She was very enthusiastic and seem to love what she does which is rare for an Asian restaurant. I order their mix rice rice dish with assorted meat which was delicious. This location seem to be much better than the one at dennison.
