We had a great experience at bb.q Chicken. The chicken was impressively crispy, even with the sauce fully coating it — exactly what you want from proper Korean fried chicken. Every piece was juicy, flavourful, and cooked perfectly. Our favourite flavour was the Creamy Jalapeño — rich, slightly spicy, and super addictive without being too heavy. We also tried the tteokbokki, which was surprisingly good. The rice cakes were chewy with the right amount of bite and not soggy at all, and the sauce had a nice balance of sweetness and heat. Overall, generous portions, great flavour, and consistently fresh food. Definitely a spot we’d come back to for a satisfying Korean comfort-food fix.
I usually get the 2-in-1 box and it’s always been packed with chicken, so that’s what I expected. This time, they offered to add fries for just $1, which sounded like a nice bonus. But when I opened it, I was really disappointed. Half the box was filled with fries, and there was way less chicken than usual. It feels like a trick to make more money while giving customers less. Really disappointing.
This was a delivery order so I can’t comment on service or atmosphere. Overall the chicken was tasty and juicy but was lacking sauce. Where’s my soy garlic sauce? The shrimp memobsha tasted greasy and oily. And the cheese balls were disappointing. Maybe partially my fault? I was expecting them to be like cheese sticks with a cheese pull but they were filled with perhaps cream cheese? Very disappointing.
this place is amazing i love how much sauce they use! the chicken is super juicy and the fries are crispy but you have to get the fries with the secret sauce!
I got the gang Jeong chicken boneless I don’t know if it’s like a thing with the boneless chicken to not barely have any breading on the chicken but I just think that’s wild The chicken was horrible The pickle radishes were better than the chicken i’m sorry, but this was a waste of $30. The rice was good and the sauce was good but the chicken was disgusting. You guys couldn’t cut the chicken a little bit smaller they were like literal chicken breasts with the fat and everything and It was nowhere near crispy and I wasn’t expecting it to be bc I chose sauce, but there was barely any breading on the chicken to begin with way too much fat on the chicken it literally honestly ruined my night
Best korean restaurant in town. When your’re a fan of korean cuisine, chicken and ddeokbokki is a must try combination that showcases the best of known worlds.
The food was really tasty Service was fast and nice and the atmosphere was great and the food was soooo gooood Highly recommend giving this place a try
