The breads they make is really good. Always get the coconut buns, the curry beef is good too. Not too big of a fan on the ham and egg or pork bun. But always stock up on the coconut ones.

I tried their food last week when my friends brought us food from this store. Very affordable prices for their bakery items and friendly staff. Highly recommended. Love the store. We come here everytime we come visit the city! ☺️?

Bought 4 dozen wife cakes for gifts. It tasted as good as ghe ones from TT groceries. Do you self a favor and go to flagrant bakery at Midland and Mcnicall the OG. The recipients of these cakes were so disappointed and they regifted them istead of hoarding the cake like usual. VERY bad attitude and customer service and told me to call a big order before. Any other bakeries would love big orders. Wow

I was looking forward to their famous wife cakes. I was in the area so I made a special stop to pick up a few. Unfortunately, the wife cake (winter melon paste filling) was not what it used to be, at least from memory. The crust and pastry were a bit too thin for my liking. The filling was average, and there wasn't a very strong winter melon taste. Overall, it wasn't comparable to the same HK name brand. I was disappointed. The lady there, though, was friendly.

This small traditional Chinese bakery shop provides very good products like egg tarts and BBQ pork biscuits. The lady front desk is super!! Polite, efficient, tidy and always with her sweet smile.

Aroma Bakery in Markham is a great spot for traditional canto baked goods. The standout item is definitely the Wife Cake, featuring a thin, soft crust and a delicious wintermelon filling. I also love their mini versions of classic items like BBQ pork buns, curry beef buns, and sausage buns, which come in packs of three for just $2.50. A special shoutout to the photo of Martin Yan from "Yan Can Cook" inside the bakery; if the bakery is good enough for him, it's good enough for me! This old-school Chinese bakery focuses on great no frills baked goods rather than decor so don't go to expect a fancy atmosphere.

Under renovation now and try out cakes again in a month time. See how it goes! Mid Feb 2022. Got the egg tart, sweet-heart cake, curry patty, barbecue pork crispy tart at this visit. The egg tart is wonderful when re-baked warm. It is worth the $1.75. the others have to be tasted at tomorrow breakfast. They taste fine for me, especially the wife cake. It is better than those at Supermarkets. Early February, 2024. The $2.5 or $7.5 Japanese spongy cake is really nice though it is not a cheese cake. So is the $1.8 egg tart.
