J’Danse Studio deserves every bit of a 5-star rating. My daughter has danced here since she was three years old, and now at sixteen, I can confidently say the studio has played a pivotal role in shaping the young woman she is today. Beyond exceptional dance training, J’Danse has instilled responsibility, dedication, discipline, and commitment—all while ensuring she has fun and builds lifelong memories and friendships. Janie and George are truly remarkable. They are not only outstanding instructors and trainers, but also genuine role models who care for the students as if they were their own. The competitive program, in particular, has been an incredibly rewarding and successful experience, offering challenge, growth, and countless proud moments. We are grateful for the positive, nurturing, and inspiring environment J’Danse provides. It has been a second home for our daughter, and we could not imagine her dancing anywhere else.
As an event coordinator, I’ve had the pleasure of working with JDS for several of their recitals and additional events over the years. I can’t speak highly enough of the experiences. This is a truly wonderful, family-run business that brings not only professionalism and creativity to the table, but also warmth, dedication, and a genuine love for what they do. Every event we’ve collaborated on has been smooth, well-organized, and filled with joy, not just because of the talent and energy their students bring, but because of the care and attention the studio team puts into every detail. Communication is always clear, timelines are respected, and they are incredibly easy and pleasant to work with. It’s clear they put their heart into their studio and it shows in the quality of their recitals and the community they’ve built around it. We always look forward to working with them and feel grateful to be part of their events. Highly recommended!
Based on our experience here, we don’t recommend this studio. My goddaughter has attended this school. Since leaving J'Danse, she has joined another dance school that has exceeded our expectations in every way: well-lit, above-ground, clean studios, a welcoming waiting area with natural light, a spacious change room with lockers and benches, and a supportive owner who is present during lessons and has integrity. They also provide a full-time front desk — all features that were missing at J'Danse. I encourage prospective families to visit multiple studios and read all policies carefully before registering. There are other schools in the area that provide clearer communication, better facilities, more reasonable tuition, and a more professional environment.
They continued to charge me during the pandemic (last installment) even when classes had gone virtual and my kid didn’t attend. She lost interest, she tried to log on for a class but it wasn’t the same as in class learning. Will never go back or recommend to anyone I know.
Very professional studio! You can tell that the owners and staff care a lot about the students, and that makes a big difference. Appreciate the effort the studio is also taking during these trying times of covid-19. Great experience overall.
We Have been part of the Jdanse family for the last four years, since our daughter was 2. The instructors and owners create an environment where the children are taught confidence and given the personal attention required to succeed. The Studio is one that perpetuates a family atmosphere, creating comfort. With a demanding work schedule we have no reservation leaving our daughter at the studio under the watchful eyes of the instructors and owners. Dance has become a focal point in the life of our daughter and there is no place we would rather have her attend. At Jdanse it goes beyond student teacher relations it truly is a family. I didn't get to know dance right away. I started dancing at the age of 11 and thanks to J'Danse Studio I haven't stopped. This is a place where everyone is welcome, encouraged and supported. JDS isn't just a studio, it becomes a second family and I wouldn't have it any differently!
