My Friend use to get haircut here and do her nails but staff hired new people in 2023 and continuosly there after. ..and these people were highly unprofessional and for nail design and details she use to overcharge and always take tips demandingly. On top of that some of the hair dressers were very rude and service went downhill so as a customer we stopped service here. Not to mention staff working there kept tools unclean and unsanitary. For Scarborough I hate to see this place go but as a customer I'm stating the facts.
I’m shocked!! This salon is 5 minute walk from my house, so I had to go in for multiple services. The nail technicians lack so much experience and work without following the safety standards. I got my pedicure two days ago without polish. The service was supposed to take 35 minutes, it only took the lady working there 15 minutes. She didn’t do proper massage techniques, she used tools before disinfecting them, when she took the towel from the hot towel cabbie to wipe my legs down after applying the lotion, the towel was covered in human hair from their hair cutting services. My legs were covered with nasty black hair, she was also washing my legs up to my knees with the dirty water in the footbath after she removed my heel callus. She clearly hasn’t received training. My lower leg was irritated and had redness around it the next morning. Never returning!!!!
i would not recommend going here at all. if i could give zero stars, i would. i went in and wanted to dye my hair. i’ve dyed my hair before at a different salon and my hair was still healthy and shiny. when i came in and asked to dye my hair, i pointed to the colour i wanted and even showed a photo of what i wanted. instead, i was stuck in the salon for 7 hours because they bleached the part of my hair that was already dyed but, the worker who was assigned to me kept leaving every chance he got. every time a male customer came in, he would leave me and go work on other people. when he finally started working on my hair, he was VERY rough with it. when bleaching hair, you have to tease it. when he was doing that he was doing it way too rough that later on it was hard to untangle. he wasn’t even trying to be gentle with it, he kept trying to force the brush through my hair. i already have thick hair that gets knotted quite often but, after receiving a service from here, my hair continued to get damage. i got split ends, which i’ve never gotten before and my hair lost it’s shine. i was always proud of how nice my hair was. when they were finished i wanted to cry. they gave me an entire different colour than i asked and they didn’t even colour my whole head like i asked. don’t come here if you want to still save your hair.
NEVER GO HERE SO AGRESSIVE HORRIBLE SERVICE My mom got her hair down here we went back to see if they could help, I explained to them that my moms hair is falling out from the root and breaking off, kept getting interrupted by the lady she was raising her voice at me, then we find out that she put perm in my moms hair 2 times she was there for 7 hours, anyway the lady got even louder with us and even a man we told them that we will call our lawyer then the lady said ok come I’ll give you the money (it was never about the money) my mom paid 325 she had very short hair and I questioned why they charged her so much she said well we did this that and blah blah none of it is true, by this time they were yelling even louder and being very aggressive talking I their language, the lady said well will give you 140 -we said ok we wanted to leave, lady started writing ad the she said give us your iD and password and we were just like absolutely not so we left as they’re still yelling ANEVER GO HERE SO AGRESSIVE HORRIBLE SERVICE
Don’t fall into their trap. -The staffs will literally FORCE you to get things done and take unbelievably high rates. Specially the red haired lady staff, she will shout at you, and won’t listen to your requirements and force you until you say yes to her. - They use CHEAP quality things on your hair. I forcefully got my hair dyed Ash Blonde colour from this salon and in a week it faded and returned back to the bleached colour which is Yellow. -Very UNPROFESSIONAL and worst customer service. Don’t fall into their trap when they force you to get things done. They will charge you high rates once they are done with their thing. -Nobody speaks or understands English other than the young Chinese girl who does the nails. And she is unbelievably RUDE. She made my friend wait for almost two hours and finally told her they are done with their nail service today and she even told her she doesn’t have appointment the next day also cause they are busy. I have attached pictures of my hair when it was coloured and the colour after a week.
Worst hair cut by new hired staff. I took service from owner and was very satisfied but later I visited 3 times and all times its been worst service by other staff. 2 times I found a lady who just know running machine and took 1 min to cut all your hairs and 1 min to set little bit. It looks like she wanted to fasted hair cutter on planet and dont care about how the hair style is looking. my last 3 times they did blunders to my hairs. I would give 5 to owner but 0 to rest. Please remove the staff who dont know how to care customer.
just few mins back went to this salon, really upset with the haircut I had.. the chinese lady who has done the hair cut to me is behaving really weird. she used trimmer to cut the hair standing 2 meters in distance though i am wearing as mask.she feel like that iam having covid . better close the saloon or ask her not to come if the behaviour is too weird ... In the same salon there is one guy he is so experienced, and he do the haircut very well. When I said about the experience with the young lady at the counter she is not at all responding, at least she is not saying 'sorry'.. I experienced toooooooo WORST service. learn to say sorry when customer not satisfied. We are not asking for the returns.
