I've added 20 yards to all of my clubs since I started really working on my golf swing at Tracer last October. I feel fitter overall, but fitter also in my ability to maintain posture and balance while swinging a club. Did I mention that I'm 67.
Went on a Saturday night. It's a bit loud if you get next to a bunch of teenagers like I did. This simulator seems more forgiving. The putting and sand shots feel very strange not like the real thing. At one point the sim would let me out of the sand for some reason no matter how many shots I tried.
Facility is ok. The sensors need to be calibrated badly. Spent 15 mins collectively trying to get the simulator to try and pick the ball up on every hole. What a waste of time.
Tracer is basically a technology company. As such, changing their app to new one should not have been so onerous. My old account didn't work on the new app and I had to recreate it as well as re-enter my credit card details. In this day and age, that is pure bush league. I also now have to wonder what is going to happen to my credit card information that I entered the first time I created an account. Tracer recently updated its golf simulator software at the Kennedy site and while it looks generally better, it doesn't seem as intuitive in terms of the swing information provided. I also don't like that the computer stays at the point left by the booking before mine. I've had to peck away many times to get it back to a main menu, The golf software should reset after each booking. Some of the bays at Kennedy are getting run down with some of the screens sagging or having a crease or slight fold in them. Being completely automated and unmanned means no amenities so if you are looking for a more social type of indoor sim golf outing that includes drinks, food etc this is not the place. Overall, if you just need to keep hitting golf balls through winter and to keep your head in the game, Tracer is a good option at a reasonable cost.
tracer golf is amazing!! i had an issue with a lost item that i left, but was able to recover smoothly thanks to Lyn! they may be known for their automated services but their online support system really gives 110% effort!! with quick and helpful responses Lyn showed how much tracer golf cares for their clients.
I was very pleased to have a practice and a game at Kennedy location. When I was there 15 mins priot to the kennedy location with my 3 other friends, we are impressed by the facilities which were maintained well even if there was no one from tracergolf. One suggestion I want to address is that while we were waiting for the bay, which was still not available for 15 minutes, there was no waiting spot with chairs for us to sit and wait. We were wandering around the facility here and there to kill 15 mins until the bay is available. Absolutely, it will be very nice to have a space with chairs for us to wait. Other than the suggestion I have mentioned above, we all had a good time and i am sure we will visit there again very soon. Thanks , John
Scarborough facility was a bit disappointing first time going in 2024. Really dirty in the booth we played in not to mention the rip in the screen we had to hit at for 3 hours. Didn’t take pictures wish I did now that I know I could’ve posted them. Place needs some Love to say the least.
