Absolutely phenomenal! The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The service was fantastic and the food is absolutely amazing! It’s pricey but absolutely worth the money.

We had a great omakase experience. There were a LOT of courses. The price is a bit expensive, but worth it for the amount of quality food you are getting. The service was also great. I would say this was one of the best omakase experiences in my recent memory.

I’ve tried a lot of omakase places in Toronto, was recommended by a friend and first time here. The place is small and intimate, like maybe 8 seats max. Everything felt fresh, balanced, and not overly fussy. It wasn’t drowning in sauces or weird flavors — just really good seafood, prepared beautifully. Added an extra order of uni, very creamy. Would definitely recommend this place!!

Came here to celebrate an anniversary. Located in a tiny, old plaza, this is not where you would expect to find a fancy and authentic omikase restaurant, but here we are! The fish was fresh and oh-so-good (pictures are worth 1000 words and I just uploaded a novel). The staff was friendly and attentive. This was a wonderful experience and would love to be back again. This was more authentic and also pricier than the other omikase place in Scarborough that I’ve tried but definitely worth it.

The shizuku experience is super. Chef Kodie and his capable staff deliver sumptuous Japanese cuisine using a variety of techniques and great ingredients. The tempura appetizer was really wow and that was early in what was an exceptional evening. Kudos to them. We will certainly be back.

We had the Uni tasting menu at Shizuku, and every dish was a masterpiece. The monkfish profiterole was unexpectedly one of the stars—perfectly balanced, rich, and delicate all at once. The abalone was incredibly tender and clean, and the trout was buttery with just the right touch of umami. The highlight of the night, though, was the uni. We were lucky enough to try murasaki, aka and bafun uni, and they were truly exceptional—fresh, creamy, and luxuriously briny in all the best ways. It’s rare to find that level of quality uni in Toronto, and it completely elevated the experience. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance is understated and intimate. If you’re a seafood lover or a fan of refined Japanese cuisine, Shizuku is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return!

I loved every single part of the experience. Went there with my girlfriend and we felt we were back in Japan! I can’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely be there again.
