Got chicken shawarma combo from this location and chicken on fries. The shawarma was blend, no pickles or turnips or anything with vinegar. The chicken on fries had dry and hard chicken which smelt bad. It was like it was not fresh. The reason it get 2 star was for the karak chai. However I think they should give it in bigger cups.
Have been ordering from this take-out for a few years because the food is pretty good. And I love the hot sauce. But the orders are often not correct. Items are missing or incorrect selections are included in the order. This happens far too frequently and I will not be going back. The food is prepared in the back and it would be better if the customer could see what the server is putting in the containers.
Shawarma was mediocre, not the best and a bit flavourless and dry. The shawarma poutine had very soggy fries. Overall, not my favourite but it's still pretty decent.
I visited this restaurant recently when I was working in the area and wanted to grab a quick lunch. I had the special of the day, with fries and a pop, it was fairly priced when compared with similar restaurants. I dined in, as they have some tables and chairs at the front, everything was clean and ready to eat on. My order was ready quickly, and came hot and well presented. The staff was polite and welcoming the entire time I was there. I would definitely come back again.
Ordered through skip the dishes Buy one get one free. Order came with alot of rice , and barely any chicken. I really dislike when restaurants barely give any chicken . It feels like I paid for a lot of rice ... But my order was chicken on rice but barely any chicken. As a first time customer, this will be the last time I eat here.
Avoid this store. A 2 for 1 deal was advertised on doordash. This deal (15$) was actually the exact same as the in-store price for 2 wraps (15$). When I went for pickup, they stated the receipt from doordash only showed 1 wrap ordered (for 15$). They said they could only give one wrap, while their menu behind them literally had the exact same price I paid (15$) - for 2 wraps. And while my doordash app clearly shows I ordered the 2 for 1 deal. In other words, they used a clerical technicality from doordash to charge me 15$ for a single wrap, while their actual instore menu, and doordash, literally did not even offer the possibility of buying a single wrap for 15$ . What a bizarre and strange set of choices for a local business to make. I suppose saving 1-2 dollars on the cost of making a another wrap is worth losing a local repeat customer.
Paradise Shawarma is a hidden gem! I tried their 2 chicken shawarma deal for $15 after tax, and it was absolutely worth it. The chicken was fresh, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. One of the best shawarmas I’ve ever had. Highly recommend give it a try!
