Beautiful place with beautiful people. I believe they are from Syria(don’t quote me on this)but they are very helpful in helping you pick out your order. Our family favourite is the pistachio Baklava and the other pastries with Chocolate on top! I never knew I liked pistachios so much after visiting this place. The products are on the expensive side, but let’s be fair, good things ain’t cheap. Honestly, 5 stars can’t even fathom how good this place is. I’d rather give them 10.

Usually, I don't like baklava, but when I bought some from Crown Pastries, I really enjoyed it. That's when I started having baklava regularly. I thought I would have the same experience here, but unfortunately, it was a very disappointing one. I can't even describe how overwhelmingly sweet it was—almost unbearable to eat.

What a delightful find! Every sweet I tried was packed with flavor and crafted to perfection. I couldn’t resist picking a few of each variety just to sample everything, and I’m so glad I did — each bite was fresh, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with love. I had intended to snap a photo, but the tempting aroma and my excitement got the better of me! If you’re on the hunt for top-notch, irresistible treats, this place should be at the top of your list. Truly a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!

Day before yesterday, I bought baklava from Adonis and it was really good. Based on that experience, I thought to buy baklava again near to home, after reading some good reviews, but this time it didn’t taste as good — it was a bit oily, and some oil stuck to my mouth after eating

I'm gluten free so unable to eat their sweets but have given many trays as gifts and my kiddos love them. Recently however, we went for ice cream and were quite disappointed. The scoops were very small, about half the size of scoops in places around the city serving the same Kawartha ice cream. Definitely not worth the price we paid. Sad because we've been excited to have an ice cream place in the neighbourhood.

I went to this bakery recently, and honestly, it was a bit of a mixed bag. They gave me a free piece of baklava, which was nice, but I was kinda bummed because they didn’t let me get in on the 50% off promotion that was supposed to start the next day. I came in on the day before, and it just felt like I got the short end of the stick. Also, I had trouble reaching them by phone. They said their phone wasn’t working because they were charging it—but for FOUR HOURS? Come on now, that’s a bit of a stretched excuse at that point. It was a hassle trying to get through had I had known. Still, I love their baklava, and I’d definitely come back if they could sort out the communication and promotions a bit better. Just a heads-up for anyone looking to get the deal!
