We’ve known about Mark’s Pizzas for a long time and finally got a large pie this evening and it was exactly what we expected - a really good pizza made with really good ingredients. The dough they use is exceptional. We got a pepperoni pizza and added green peppers. Most of the pizzas they’re offering now are spicy and I can’t do spicy. The parking lot is cramped and small so be careful. And there is no place to sit inside… take out only. The pizza we ordered was ready right on time. Definitely recommend and we’ll be back.
The pizza tastes great, although a tad bit on the pricy side and even though they messed up my order by only giving me 2 slices instead of 3, when I asked for my third slice, they gave it to me without hesitation and were extremely understanding and nice throughout the situation. Overall a great place to get some pizza
Good place, good people, GREAT PIZZA. Say nothing when the food ain’t right but this place is fire. This is how all pizzas should be in Ontario Canada, I say this only because I haven’t travelled much.
Fresh, simple, and good pizza — exactly what you want from a neighbourhood spot. The slices are always well-made and satisfying, with quality toppings and a crispy crust. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but I understand with rising costs and the focus on keeping the product top-notch. Every time I’ve come here, it’s been consistently great. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area and craving a solid slice.
Burned my pizza and it was the last one. Didn’t get it. Couldn’t eat it. Something to add: it was not that the slices were not "to my liking" - people have dietary restrictions but also, yes that is the slice I wanted. Considering that it was an error on your employees side of things, there should not be any pushback or attitude in your reply, a simple sorry would have sufficed, and an ownership and accountability for the mistake. We went to Mark's on a Saturday night. Ordered online and was surprised to see the next time slot was 2 hours, they are definitely busy! We arrived about 20 minutes early and just sat down to wait. Mark offered us a free slice while we waited and chatted with us. What a great appetizer because the slice was delicious. We ended up picking up a bottle of hot honey as well because it tasted incredible on the slice. The pizza was amazing! It wasn't heavy like some "gourmet" Pizzas that leave your stomach in knots after. The ingredients were quality and you could tell they were fresh. We are definitely going to make this a once a month pizza date night!
My mother used to send us for $ 1 or $ 2 pizza from Vesuvios on College Street and from that time on I've been a huge pizza lover and earned my nickname "Pizza Head" from my wife. Of course all pizzas aren't the same and I've rated them as such and MARKS PIZZA is by far the best pizza I've ever had. Being a dough guy, the texture and taste, WOW, have never tasted better dough so for it to be so good means work and the work put into it certainly rises MARKS dough above any other I've tasted. Now to the toppings. I had 3 different slices and every one of them were knockout slices. Fave was Mushroom, WOW the fresh tasty smothered slice was a KO. Add Pepperoni/Jalapeno, all cheese soooo good. No skimming with these slices, very deserving prices and I'd personally pay a touch more and after we left I thought "should have grabbed a few slices for later" and next time I'll certainly do that as I'm going to make sure I try every different slice that MARK lays out. Mark, my type of guy, and from staff that I had seen or heard they were all very pleasant, smiling and that comes from a very happy working place working with a very pleasant owner which all equates to great customer service so the dough at MARKS will keep on rising and I'm going to keep on slicing.
