gave them a mop that needed repair, and they told me it would be fixed by the following week. When I went back, he kept saying ‘next week, and then next week, and then next week.’ I tried to take the mop back so I could get it repaired elsewhere, but he wouldn’t let me, saying it was fixed and he just needed to sort out the warranty. It’s been months now, and I still haven’t heard back from them. At this point, they’re basically keeping it. I wouldn’t recommend this place such a bad service.
The owner Abdul went above and beyond to help me. I did not have another vacuum to clean the inside of my vacuum & he cleaned it for me by vacuuming all the dirt that was inside my vacuum for free. I strongly recommend this place as the customer service was excellent.
Call Scarborough vacuum or Aerus Electrolux both are fast efficient and honest service centre for all kinds of vacuum repair I am happy with their service.
This is the worst place to go, never go there. IT IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM. The guy, Abdul would trap you with an upfront 50$ fee to inspect the issue with a promise to adjust that amount later with the fix. There is no paperwork because obviously there is no logic in the fee that he quotes. Then he would keep trapping you with random fee without getting to the root of the issue in your vacuum. He knows nothing about vacuums and is a FRAUD. Forget fixing, he was not even able to identify the issue. After a lot of followups and back and forth, I gave up but STILL ENDED UP PAYING HIM 60$ AND CAME BACK WITH A BROKEN MACHINE. (Consider charity from my side) Whats worse is that he tries to talk nicely and passes personal creepy comments too. Shame on you !!!!
WARNING: Stay far away from this dishonest scam artist operating under Scarborough Vacuum and Aerus Electrolux. This man is an absolute fraud. He came to our home under the guise of repairing our central vacuum. He took the entire unit to his shop and asked for a $200 deposit. The next day, he claimed the motor needed to be replaced — quoting $800. My elderly father, unaware of the scam, agreed. Shockingly, he returned just a few hours later with the "repaired" vacuum. Anyone who knows anything about appliance repair knows that a new motor does NOT arrive, get installed, and tested in just a few hours. Not only was this story completely suspicious, but the entire vacuum and all its parts retail for around $400 total — half of what he charged for just the "repair." When I confronted him and demanded a receipt for the motor, he refused to provide one — because there clearly isn’t one. He preys on vulnerable people, overcharges, and covers it all with lies. His operation is shady, deceptive, and predatory. He runs Scarborough Vacuum and Aerus Electrolux — don’t be fooled by the brand names. If you value your money, your time, or basic honesty, avoid both of these businesses at all costs. You will be scammed.
