A true gem in Scarborough! I come here with my parents and family every time I visit home and it never disappoints. Food is consistently tasty and well-made. Drinks are so good, reminds me of the quality we got in Japan. Service is always quick and friendly ☺️ I rarely post reviews but this place is rly deserving of it Thanks for the great food and addition to the neighborhood, Wanoka!
This place was a complete letdown. In my opinion, calling it a café is almost misleading. The hot coffee tasted bitter, watery, and cheap like instant coffee than anything freshly brewed. The cold drinks were basically just cups of froth with no real substance. On top of that, the portion sizes were tiny while the prices were outrageously high. Let alone the wait time. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding Café Wanoka. There are far better places that actually serve real coffee and don’t overcharge for it.
Cute little hole in the wall cafe. Good drinks. The pastry tasted generic and seemed to have been warmed up in the microwave, so it didnt stay warm long (it was already cold when I got back to my car.) Cute decor outside.
Delicious Omurice is sold here. The cafe is small, clean and pleasant for small groups of 1-4 without too much of a crowd or noise I frequently stop here to meet with a friend, and noticed that other times there are ppl who will sit here to read, work on their laptop, etc. The prices are reasonable too, and I like their hot Matcha latte. The staff are kind here, plus there's a rewards cards for free stuff if you get enough stamps on this. I'd definitely recommend stopping be here, as I'd come here again too, in the future!
A beautiful cafe tucked away in a plaza in Agincourt area. Their service is very friendly, love the cozy ambiance and the menu options for both food and hot and cold drinks. They also have a full dessert menu with crepes and other sweet options. We tried their regular latte, iced hojicha latte - tried this for the first time and I kinda liked the taste, and the vanilla bean cream puff was so delicious and creamy! Loved the overall vibe and I'd recommend giving this place a try over all the over hyped cafes downtown.
Cafe Wanoka is such a warm and welcoming spot! The coffee is rich and beautifully made, the food is fresh and flavourful, and the Staff are always kind and attentive. Perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a quiet moment with a great cup of coffee. highly recommend! ☕️?
The place has a warm and cozy atmosphere, making it a nice spot to relax. However, I was shocked to see that they charge $4.50 just for an addition of butter—who does that?! It feels unreasonable and overpriced for something so simple. Definitely left a bad impression.
