The Chinese lady who took my order this morning at the drive thru was rude. It was my first time ordering food from them, and it was obvious that I didn’t understand what she was asking. She kept repeating the same question, and after several times, she raised her voice and angrily explained the choices. I was thinking of just driving off if only I don't need to eat. My young daughter bought a single sprinkle donut and gave the cashier a $5 bill. She walked back and handed me the change. Didn't realize it until I returned to the car with $2.25 back. So a normal sprinkle donut is $2.75? No receipt provided. Won't be returning.
I ordered a BLT for approx $6.50. What I got was 2 slices of toast with a tiny bit of bacon (it might have amounted to a half slice) and one tomato slice, along with a bit more lettuce. They didn’t even spread it out to cover the bread. The coffee was fine and the place was quite clean, including the washroom.
Wow, stumbling upon this Coffee Time was like stepping back into my high school days—what a blast from the past! It brought back so many memories of when Coffee Time used to be everywhere, known for their amazing baked goods, especially those huge muffins. The carrot muffins were always my favorite. Seeing this location, I couldn’t resist stopping in for a coffee. The female staff member was very friendly, which added to the nostalgic experience. I also noticed they had lotto machines, which was something new for me—though, unfortunately, they were out of order. The coffee itself was delicious and had a unique flavor that set it apart from Tim’s. If you’re in the area, I’d recommend stopping by to support their business and keep the good vibes of the ’90s alive.
