Like others have said, collecting UPS packages here results in you being treated like a burden. I always try to treat others with kindness and compassion - especially those working in customer-facing roles, as these tend to be the most difficult jobs - however, the treatment I received in return was frankly abysmal. When I stated I was there to collect a package, the staff member I spoke to sent me to the side to check out other customers - no problem with me! The attitude and tone of voice he spoke with while sending me to the side was laden with an air of "I'm too good for this", but whatever, people have off days. When he came over to assist me, again, his attitude came off like he could barely stop himself from rolling his eyes, as I offered to provide him a number of details to assist in finding my package (and even offered to look with him, if that might make his job easier). The thing that really threw me off? When I handed him my I.D., he looked it over, and laughed. I asked why he had laughed, and he said "No reason." I pressed him two more times, at which point he said, "Your photo." I didn't respond, just stared at him. He then tried to backtrack by saying something along the lines of "I just mean, it's funny how you're not allowed to smile in those pictures." I couldn't imagine being so bitter that I'd take it out on a total stranger, let alone on one trying to be as considerate as possible. I'd advise the store to cut their UPS contract if it's that much of a struggle for such little pay, but more importantly, for the guy I dealt with to reflect and choose to be better in how he connects with others moving forward.
The greeting was: "What do you want?" I needed to drop off some packages for UPS, and he told me to affix the wrong label on the package (different from the instructions on the label). He is not helpful at all, and he is rude.
Whoever worked today (Thursday August 17th, at 4pm) needs a medal. Poor guy worked two lines alone and kept apologizing to me because i was waiting. Costumers need to chill. Yelling, getting annoyed like have some compassion….. same people that all day sit in-front of their building complex too (i recognized many) have the nerve to get upset with a person who actually work. Cashier kept composure. Well done!
I've been coming here for a couple of years now, and this is my favorite convenience store by far. Cheaper cigarettes compared to other stores. Staff is always so polite they know what I need as soon as I come in. Definitely 10/10 recommend this store
One of the oldest, tried and true stores around the area still! The family has taken care of individuals like myself for 30+ years, ever since Morningside Mall was a thing. They always find the best deal for you and treat you with kindness. Will never stop praising the store.
I have been going to this store for a number of years. The staff over the years have been very friendly and try to get to know their regular customers. I have shipped and received UPS goods with no issues. The store tries to get items that their customers would like and if you want them to stock certain items they will try to accommodate your request. The owner is extremely friendly and values his clients! Fantastic store!
Went in to pickup a package that ups had screwed up the delivery. Wasn't too busy about dinner time so was able to get in & out fast enough. Was all I needed but seems decent place.
