I’ve been a patient at this dental office since I was 8 years old, attending with my parents, but today’s experience with my 15-year-old son was beyond disappointing. The secretary, who has been disrespectful in the past, struck again. I arrived 10 minutes late for my son’s emergency appointment, only to find out that another patient had already been taken in his place. In just 10 minutes, my son’s spot was given away—without any courtesy call or follow-up. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially since I traveled 45 minutes and signed my son out of school for this appointment. When I confronted the secretary about the situation, she rudely told me I needed to rebook the appointment and then made racial slurs about me being Jamaican because I expressed my frustration. After this demeaning interaction, I was eventually told my son could proceed with the appointment. However, during the visit, my 2-year-old daughter touched something, and Dr. Sasha herself commented that I should “control my daughter or she would end the appointment.” This just showed me that the office is not only following the unprofessional attitude of the secretary but is also supported by the dentist herself. I have never disrespected Dr. Sasha or the office staff, but today I was shouted at, and I even recorded the incident on my phone. This is the third time I’ve had a strange, uncomfortable experience with this secretary, which is why I switched my kids to a different dental office. I only returned today because my son had an emergency, and it turned out to be the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. I will never come back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone. It’s clearly catering to Tamil and Indian families, and I’ll be letting my mother, father, and family know about this. I will not be removing this review, and I will not accept this treatment anymore.
i went here about 2 years ago and will never go back. she had to do my fillings and she didnt fill one of my tooth after she drilled a hole in my tooth. she didnt finish filling it. so i told the receptionist and hygienist that i feel there is a hole in my tooth. they all laughed and said some patients feel that way and thats impossible. the after 2 weeks i went back and the dentist says oh ur filling fell off or came off...when i told all of them she didnt finish her job right last time. so yea because of the staff's behaviour i will give this place 1 star
I know Dr. Viswasam through my wife. My wife has known her for ages as it seems lol. She is awesome and caring, but moreover has been such a help and blessing to us for a long time. We travel from the west end of the city for all of our appointments.
The clinic is amazingly sanitized and clean at all times. The staffs, especially Dr. Sesha, were professional, friendly and flexible. We we’re always satisfied with the services that we got from Sunshine Dental.
Very unprofessional, after giving appointment i am on my way,took leave from job and they call don't come, no value of time, stupid. not going there again.
