IES sold me lights at MSRP (manufacturer suggested retail price) instead of at MAP (minimum advertised price). I have the invoice somewhere. I can post it here when I find it. Make sure you shop around for the best prices. Don’t be in a hurry to buy… because everyone is in a hurry to sell.
I have to say every time I walk in they get my product fast, even if I don’t have the item code they’ll find it for me, very professionals. The price is very reasonable, and again great friendly service. I’ll be keep coming back..
I go to Independent all the time, way better than Home Depot. Their staff is really friendly and helpful and they have a ton of inventory, even with all the supply issues they somehow still have everything I need. Pricing is also very competitive and I rarely need to negotiate or price match.
I cannot judge the whole business and team but representative behind the front desk is was so miserable and ignorant that I decided to walk away. There are two more electrical suppliers around the area and both are proved to be very friendly and helpful. My problem was solved in 15 minutes. Please don't get me wrong but Independent Electric Supply is not my choice anymore.
I cannot recomend Independant Electrical Supply to anyone. The employees and management do respond to concerns, and became confrontational when I spoke to several employees in person over a very small concern that could have easily been rectified. Instead the employee of Independent Electrical Supply chose to be rude, ignorant and verbaly confrontational. I refuse to do business with a company that lacks the ability to handle routine problems. Companies that use this type of business model will often leave you out in the cold. Proceed at your own risk.
Ordered cable for 400 amp service. Went to pick it up the cable was cut multiple locations some with exposed copper. Didn't leave the store yet and wanted to return. The manager gave me a hard time. His reason being this is how our machine cuts it. Double check before you pick up or pay for your order. I would recommend avoiding this place altogether. Horrible customer service. Dont even admit to their own mistake.
