I ordered halibut and chips to go it was ready on time when I went in to pick it up! The only thing was, the fish and chips were a bit too oily for my taste. I know fish and chips are usually quite greasy, but this one was really heavy on the oil. I had to use paper towels to soak up the excess before I could eat it. But hey, other than that, it was pretty decent!
I asked for fish and chips and literally got batter and chips. I mean if you didn’t have enough fish just say so. Or charge me less bc this was crazy. Or give me an extra piece of fish. But I guess if you’re a successful business already why do you need to prove yours at this point right? Well I payed FULL PRICE FOR BASICALLY BATTER come on man do better!!!!! This is terrible!!!
We ordered 2 plates of fish and chips and 2 beers, the chips tasted like fried in cheap oil, we could tast the flavour of the oil in the chips, couldn’t finish them and the tarter sauce was in a squeeze bottle, tasted like just plain moyo $72 , with tip $83, over priced, not going back
We ordered the fish and chips (Halibut) which was great but the fish portion can be bigger, the chips were amazing. The restaurant was very old and overrun
My first time order from this resturant. I order haddock platter. I got 3 tiny shrimp and 3 tiny scallop 1 fish. Taste is normal but package it so bad. It ruin all food because they cover by paper and it make all food socky wet.
Ordered takeout from here for Good Friday and the food was fabulous. Highly recommend “splurging” and getting the halibut— not overly coated in batter, crisp, fresh-tasting, and the perfect portion. You also get a mountain of quality fries and the price for everything is terrific. Today was surely a very busy day for them but they were very well-organized and definitely anticipated the rush. Staff were super friendly and on top of everything. Great spot!
I ordered Halibut and chips was not happy with it. Fries were cool fish greasy, I then had rice pudding which is usually very good, this was more water than pudding. I will not be back. Or get delivery/take out.
