I called the shop last minute but they managed to see me straight away. Most accommodating in the busy Christmas rush! I landed in Franca's chair and she did an amazing job. Cut my short fine hair exactly as I requested and BETTER!! I highly recommend Franca, and absolutely will be returning to her. Great shop, great location, easy parking.
Highly recommend Elza! I take my daughter to this first choice all the time and I only request for Elza. She is amazing with small kids. My daughter is never afraid to get her hair cut.
Thank you Delilah! I came in awhile ago to have my hair curled and set for a wedding tsking place up north in a small town the next day, a Thursday. Rollers were put in, spent a long time under the dryer, rollers came out and curls individually bobby-pinned and sprayed sprayed to hold them. Wrapped my head and off I went. The next day about 24 hours later, when I unwrapped my head to get ready for the wedding, the curls were intact and my hair was looking great for the wedding! That I call 5 star hair styling! Thank for making me look my best for my nephew's special day!!! I will surely be back for other event hairstyles.
I used to go here a lot because I live nearby so it’s convenient. A lady, whose name I wont reveal, trimmed my curtain bangs recently and it turned out horribly. One side was longer than the other and it was incredibly noticeable once I left and styled my hair. They let me come in again within the same week to have it fixed. The same lady attempted to fix my hair, after trying to blame it on my cowlick being the reason one side of my bangs is longer on my face. Once I disproved her comment, she realized!? I came home later to find out within that one side of my curtain bang the front parts are longer than the ends ( usually it would be the other way around, start off short for front bang pieces and longer for the end pieces). I was incredibly upset with my experience there and can’t say I’ll be returning. Not only did they mess up once, but twice. Just for bangs! Yes they do walk ins and are super convenient when nearby, but the quality of work should be equally important and held to a higher standard. I was truly disappointed at my recent visit and won’t be returning again. It is ultimately a big hit or miss here if they will do a good job or not at this scarborough location, so please be mindful and good luck if you decide to take upon this risk!??
My husband & I have being going to Franca for some years now and think we get the best hair cuts. Having just returned from wintering in Florida, she had to clean up the mess from the poor hair cuts we received there. Franca is knowledge about hair, is friendly and takes her work seriously. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else
I have been taking my son there regularily for the past two years for a haircut. Which, if I'm keeping it honest, was always mediocre, and somewhat uneven, bc no one there knows how to fade properly. But since he is a kid, and the place is mostly available for appointment booking online, and I have limited time as a mother, I kept going back. My last appointment,l changed my opinion. I was booked for 9:25am on a Saturday morning, due to a signal outage, I was 4 minutes late...and they gave my appointment away to a walk in. The hairstylist told me "Too bad." And I had been leaving $10 tips for each time I had a kids cut. They have my number could have called. Very rude staff, no apology or empathy, I was left extremely disappointed. Needless to say will never go back, or recommend anyone who wants polite service or expects to be over 4min late to go this location. I guess tips mean nothing to them, so don't waste your money expecting they will care.
I love the experience here. The staff is very friendly, and are good at their jobs. I want to specifically mention Elizabeth as well, who always gets me the look I want!
