I had a wonderful time at this location. The staff were extremely friendly and were able to find exactly what I wanted. Trying on pieces and making my decisions were very simple with their help and the cashing out process was easy. Overall a very pleasant experience here!
I used to buy jewellery from this store over few years now, but today had worst experience found new staff lady literally had no manners to talk & arguing with me in louder tone. I was disapoint by cheap behaviour of new staff lady. I will never visit this store again.
I've been shopping at Bittersweet for a couple of years now. And I love their sterling silver jewellery. But their manager is quite rude. I was shopping for gifts during the Boxing Week sale. A sweet young girl helped me pick out a couple of necklaces. As she was wrapping my necklaces at the cash register. The manager comes up and loudly tells her to hurry up and move, so their customer can pay for their items. The poor girl was rushing to get the boxes wrapped together and I felt bad for her. And I find the manager's attitude to be in poor taste. I know Boxing Week was chaotic and they are probably just rushing to get their commission. But that is not a reason to rudely rush your employee.
Arlene was extremely helpful and pleasant as usual. Right away when I told her what I wanted she knew exactly what to recommend. Much appreciated and I know I’ll be back again soon!
this store sells fakes silver jewelry, last year i bought a silver bracelet as a bday gift for a friend, the store said its sterling silver, and it has a stamp of s925. Recently i saw my friend again and found out the bracelet turned shinny brown color on all the edges, i tried to clean it with tooth paste, soaked in hot water with salt and tin foil, but the brown color stayed the same, it is definitely Silver plated over copper but they sell it as sterling silver, stamp is meaningless, pls all of u should check the pieces you bought
Thank you Wendy who is working at STC location for helping my mother and I to find jewelry for my mom (for my wedding). She is very patient and was more than happy to help us out and we tried on 3-4 necklaces and a few bracelets before deciding. She also gave suggestions and really helped us look for matching sets. I haven’t been to bitter sweet since highschool but I’m glad to have a great experiencing having shopped at this company again!
I have no issue with the store itself but the manager made me never want to go into this store ever again! I called ahead to check if they had a necklace in stock and the person who answered the phone was lovely, unfortunately when I got to the store the manager working was completely unprofessional and rude to her employees. While I waited to pay, two workers were at the cash helping customers while the manager yelled at them telling them to speed it up. It was clear that the manager was making customers and the workers uncomparable with her behavior and the way she talked to her employees in front of customers. Her employees were wrapping everything as it was Christmas eve, the line wasn't long at all. I find it completely unprofessional to see employees getting yelled at for doing their job while the manager is standing there doing nothing, just yelling at them to speed it up. I understand the manager has a responsibility to make sure the store runs smoothly but she was not doing anything, so if she is concerned about the customers waiting too long, why couldn’t she step up and help instead of just humiliating her employees and abusing her power? I really hope that Bitter Sweet as a company cares; looks out for its employees, and has protocols in place to prevent managers from taking advantage of their employees.
