Ordered the spicy chili chicken with fries combo for take out. Chicken portion size was huge and the amount of fries were perfect. Piping hot, super crunchy, spice level was perfect for me, perfectly saucy, and well worth it. There will definitely be a next time and I would definitely recommend it - new Scarborough spot for me!
We ordered the Banban Korean fried chicken, which comes with K-Old School and Soy Garlic. The K-Old School was incredibly crispy, and the Soy Garlic had a slight kick that cut through the richness nicely. The balance between the two was excellent. The fries were amazing — definitely a must-order. The service was extremely friendly, making the whole experience even better. I’d definitely come back.
I visited this Korea store twice this year for take-out, and both times the service at the front counter was very disappointing. Regardless of how the food tastes, it was very difficult to understand the girl working there when I tried to order the food. I wanted to ask for clarification, she appeared extremely impatient and rude. I almost saw her roll her eyes. Because of this poor service, I cannot give any star for it. I won’t be returning or recommending this location to my family members or any of my friends. In my opinion, customer service is just as important as the food, and I couldn’t justify tipping with such a negative attitude.
So, my friends and I were on the hunt for a new spot, and we stumbled upon this place. We were also craving some fried chicken, which they totally had, so here we are. We got seated pretty quickly since it wasn't slammed when we rolled in. It definitely picked up after we sat down, though. We ordered soy garlic fried chicken, corn cheese, chicken and fries, and tteokbokki. The only thing they're missing is an alcohol license, 'cause we really wanted some soju with our chicken, but we couldn't order any. Honestly, the food's awesome, and I even grabbed more chicken to-go for my hubby. The vibe is decent, not too loud or packed, which was great since I had my baby with me for dinner. If you're in the neighborhood and want some fried chicken and Korean food, I'd say swing by and check it out to see if you like it.
Really awesome place for a good night out. Delicious food topped with the nicest customer service. It’s scary how kind and supportive they are when it’s so busy. I would come here just for that Food-wise, I would recommend the Yangnyeom or the Chibap. Really enjoyed those two, the other options are good too but these two really hit home. (Also Id recommend getting the boneless options, just much easier and tastier) Only downside is their lack of variety. I would have likes more flavours and a bigger spot. It does get cramped when it’s busy but hopefully they can expand both the menu and the restaurant space. 8.5/10. Highly recommend at least trying it out.
The fried chicken is really crispy outside, juicy inside !! With the flavourful sauce, overall is just great !!! Even with the 2 fire level marked on the menu, personally I don’t think it’s too spicy though. If you like “cream sauce”, the cream tteokbokki definitely will satisfy your appetite!
Edit: I have visited this place three more times after I left my review, and not even a single visit was disappointed. They really are the best. I love this restaurant so much.?❤️ The best Korean fried chicken I've ever had. As a Korean who's been living in Scarborough for years and tried all the Korean fried chicken spots nearby, and this new place that's just opened up became the top 1. The portion can't be compared with others, it's A LOT! I don't have a picture but their Tteokbokki is so good, there's no picture because we finished it so fast lol. Customer service is another level, they know how to treat their customers and their excellent service made me feel extra special. I hope this place gets more people to come and stay long!❤️
