My regular item at Korean restaurant is pork bone soup. If you are alsov a pork bone soup lover, u need to try out this place. This is small restaurant with 10-15 tables. I found they were usually at 70%- fully occupied. I guess they are pretty popular. Their pork bone soup was different from many places. I think their spices combination was perfect for me. If you have a bigger party, their ribs were yummy. My son has many opinions on restaurants, this one is on his 'approved' list.
Probably one of, if not the best gamjatang you can find in Scarborough. The staff was also fantastic; despite being very busy, the lone male staff was very quick in refilling the banchan side dishes.
My partner and I got the Jeongol for 2. The broth was delicious and hearty, great for a chilly fall day. The pork was tender and umami. The glass noodles were delicious. Portions were very satisfying, and still enough left to take home.
This is one of the few Korean restaurants that I’ve been to where they refill the side dishes. The side dish portions were a bit smaller, but it was nice that the waiter refilled them. We ordered the pork bone soup with ramyeon and it was delicious and very hearty. We also ordered the sweet fried chicken which was boneless. The fried chicken was saucy and crispy. The waiter seemed a bit shy and inexperienced and he didn’t know how to split the bill. Overall though, the food was great and I would like to try other items on their menu next time.
Service is slow bc of few staff when it's busy. Also found mould in the water jug. Not happy. Good pork bone though but no beer like the Yonge street location
This place is on the pricier side for gamjatang in Scarborough, but it is a treat! Enjoyed the large gamjatang and chicken dumplings this time around. I would also recommend the soon tofu gamjatang as well. Enjoy!
Serious good gamjatang. I’ve always ordered thru uber eats but decided today that I’ll eat at the restaurant. It was even better than take out, the meat falls off the bone and the soup is so flavorful! Easily one of the best in Toronto. The owners are also super nice and gave great service. I highly recommend this place!
