I keep going back to Dr. Steven Lau because he takes the time to explain about the exam and to make sure the measurements are correct and appropriate for what you use your glasses for. His manner is friendly and professional, knowledgeable and makes the exam a breeze. No fancy office, just excellent service from him and his receptionist!
Dr. Lau is very kind and approachable. Quite pleasant to work with. This alone made me want to go back initially. However, I unfortunately did not have the same experience with his receptionist. I came in at a later date seeking assistance with an issue I was running into while trying to get my glasses - unsure of the best way to handle it and she treated me like I was a nuisance, brushing me off and sending me away to someone else. I personally will not be going back but again would like to acknowledge that I think Dr. Lau is wonderful. I would encourage you to give him a try and make your own judgement call from there.
I visited Dr. Steven Lau today, and he was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, he was warm, friendly, and incredibly professional. He took the time to explain every step of the exam, answered all my questions with patience, and made me feel completely comfortable. His knowledge and expertise as an optometrist are outstanding, but what really stood out was his genuine care for his patients. I left there feeling so grateful to have found such a knowledgeable and dedicated doctor. Highly recommend Dr. Lau to anyone looking for the very best in eye care!
After several years of not getting my eyes examined, I was referred by friends to see Dr. Lau. The receptionist was very welcoming and immediately provided me with an appropriate timeslot to get my eyes examined. Seeing Dr. Lau was also a very great experience, you can really tell that he puts a lot of time and care with his patients. Although it was my first time meeting him, his casualness, personality and professionalism made me felt like this was an optometrist I've known for many years. I have no issues recommending Dr. Lau to my friends and family.

Very nice and informative optometrist (Dr.Lau) and staff (receptionist at the office and Engy? at the optical store 2 doors over) at this location. They were very accommodating and helpful when I came in and wanted an eye exam done on the spot because of using a pair of contacts for too long and needing my prescription updated as well. I was done within an hour.
