Unbelievably amazing, friendly staffs. My physiotherapist, Christopher is like an angel for me. Within 5 sessions my pain is gone. I went several other places but this place has some extra treatment like lessors and shockwave, I didn’t see anywhere else. They’ll not keep you longer for your insurance money but they’ll actually fix your problems. So thank you so much for your honest job.
I have been coming to pro-life for the past 3 months and I’ve been working with Quinn and Carah. Since my accident I’ve been to another physiotherapy and I wasn’t getting the care I needed. But at Pro-Life, they genuinely have been helping me with my recovery. Even though my pain and stress from my injuries is taking a toll on my body and mind I’m so glad to have them on my team. They take my pain seriously and find ways to help me heal. Truly can’t recommend them enough!!

Everyone was nice the massage guy I think his name is Lee I could be wrong but he was the BEST when I can I want to book for an hour ill feel like a new person
My visit to Active Therapy Works on June 12th, 2024, for a 4:30 PM appointment was highly disappointing. The prior evening, my fiancé called to confirm whether my benefits, which include $700 through Manulife, would cover massage therapy sessions. We were assured they would and were instructed to bring only my ID and benefit card. I arrived at 4:15 PM, fifteen minutes before my appointment, and was informed that my massage therapist would be ten minutes late. However, thirty minutes passed with no sign of the therapist. During this time, I asked the receptionist about the process for applying my benefits and how much coverage I had, as it was my first time using them and I had some questions. I was met with immediate hostility. The receptionist (The receptionist did not give me her name, and I can only describe her as a brown female mid 30s wearing a hijab). said she would call to inquire and then informed me that a doctor’s note was required. Only then did she ask if I had a doctor’s note, to which I replied, “I don’t have a note as I did not know I needed one.” She responded with a verbally aggressive tone, saying, “You should know your benefits, how they work, and what you are covered for. It’s $95 per session; pay now and we can bill your insurance once you have the note.” When I expressed my desire to cancel the appointment due to the unexpected requirement and my inability to cover the fees upfront, she refused, saying, “It’s too late, your appointment is booked, I can’t cancel.” Throughout this interaction, she continued to speak to me in an aggressive manner, reiterating that I should know the details of my benefits and making me feel extremely uncomfortable, disrespected, and belittled. During this entire ordeal, there was still no sign of the massage therapist, despite being told the wait would be only ten minutes. Finally, when my therapist, Man Wei Cheung, arrived and presumably overheard the conversation, they intervened and said, “It’s okay, you’re fine. We will cancel your appointment for today. Next time, bring a doctor’s note and we can rebook you.” Even at this point, I received no apology from the receptionist. Based on my experience, I would advise avoiding Active Therapy Works due to their lack of customer service skills and their rude and disrespectful behavior. DO NOT GO!!! I RATHER TRY BETTER PLACES WITH PROFESSIONALS THAT KNOW HOW TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE.
I had a really good experience at active therapy, staff was very nice, clean place, highly recommended. I was having this pain in my neck, shoulder and upper back so I went to see massage therapist Katherine. She was really good at her job after taking few sessions my pain has been reduced and I don't have any numbness in my arms.
This place is unique. It offers other forms of therapy not offered by others in Toronto. They have save me from having to have surgery on my right arm with shockwave treatment and Laser Treatment. Very pleased with the results. The staff are very knowledgeable. It’s nice to have all forms of treatment in one place. Chiropractic, physiotherapy, shockwave & laser. Also measure for orthotics. Highly recommend ‼️
