I had noticed several shingles were starting to curl and shingle grits had worn off of others. I obtained estimates from 4 reputable GTA roofers - 2 thru referrals. 3 showed up promptly upon my request and one DNS. The 3 estimates I received were friendly and professional a all provided competitive quotes. I chose AZ Roofing not because he was the lowest nor was he the highest, but from conversation...I trusted Zak's integrity and his pride for the quality of workmanship and materials he uses. I inquired about other shingles and he offered me my choice at no additional cost should I chose another than his. John and his team of 4 showed up as scheduled on the morning of the job. Prior to starting, they inspected the ground level perimeter and laid down tarps not to damage my backyard deck. Then proceeded to remove all the existing shingles, vents, etc. John even encountered a wasp nest on the side of the house and disabled it to continue on the job. I noticed how meticulous John was with the installation with each layer of product he installed, the installation of the new HD steel exhaust air vents and any caulking around the skylight, vents, flashing, etc. John also did a complimentary cleaning of leaves/debris on all the eavestroughs. His team did a final cleanup with a magnetic broom for any nails and other debris around house. Overall...job well done guys and I appreciate the cleanup including around my neighbors' yards as well. Very impressed with them. Called them for urgent repair and they showed up right in 30 minute. Got the work done under reasonable quote. For sure will save their contact number for any future needs.
I called AZ on a Friday when I noticed a wind storm took of some shingles. The team came out same day and provided a very fair quote. The work was done 2 days later on time and with exceptional professionalism. Highly recommend.
