Popped in to see what they had as I have found several great deals at other locations. This place is SO OVER PRICED!!!. Wow I could not believe the prices on things in this store. It was more like a discount retail store then a Restore. There were very few bargains in this place and it seemed like they were trying to compete with the other local BRAND NEW furniture places near by. Some of the stuff was so old! Other stuff was damaged and marked up. Several items were over $200.00. No deals to be found here. :(
This store is great, the staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Even when I am looking for the smallest item they can direct me to it. And the prices are good too.
Welcoming ,large and well organized store. Has alot of nice picess. Used and new furniture , appliances, renovation items, hardware, est. Very nice and helpful staff. Highly recommended!
I’ve been donating items to this location since 2022 because I strongly support your mission and believe in reducing waste. I also rely on receiving tax receipts for my donations. Until recently, the process was smooth—I consistently received email acknowledgments after each drop-off and the corresponding tax receipts within two weeks. However, things seem to have changed in 2025. I no longer receive email confirmations, and I’ve had to follow up with the corporate office to confirm whether my donations were received and to request tax receipts. At present, I am still waiting for receipts for two recent drop-offs. As a frequent donor, I’m disappointed with the decline in communication and efficiency. I sincerely hope the new manager, Aram, will address this issue and improve the process. Otherwise, I may need to reconsider donating in the future. On a positive note, I want to acknowledge Elijah—he’s always friendly and even remembers my name, which I truly appreciate. Edit: Aram has contacted me and stated that all issues have been resolved.
I bought a door from here that had the wrong measurements listed on it and I didn’t notice they were wrong till I was home. I went back another day to exchange it but the manager became very rude and didn’t not want to exchange it. In the end i didn’t get my exchange and ended up donating the door back. What was really infuriating was the managers attitude, very rude and outright disrespectful. It’s not the first time I’ve had an unpleasant experience with this staff member at this location.
I placed and paid for an order at the Scarborough location. You would think their inventory system would not allow for orders to be placed against OUT OF STOCK items but to my surprise it does. I had arranged to pick up the purchased item from the retail shop due to their crazy expensive shipping charge, $155, for a 20lb item traveling about 60kms. Just as I was leaving to make my 1hr drive to pick up my order I receive an email indicating my order had been cancelled. I'm not sure why I was able to place the order, never mind the fact that it took them 3 day to inform me of the lack of inventory. All I can say is don't assume that any item is in stock even if it lets you place the order...always call the store to confirm availability. I would have wasted over 2 hours of my time not too mention the cost of the gas to get there. Not impressed
Under new management. Great store with a wide selection and better prices. There's always new inventory coming in. Ask for Aram. He'll take care of you .
