Decided to try Too Good To Go for dinner and I think I lucked out! My bag had 1 serving of rice and 2 tubs of viands - Filipino style chicken curry and Beef Kaldereta. Enough for 2 meals. What a steal
I loved everything except the Turon...the caramel was BURNT BLACK and the fillings not great ... Remellys at Sheppard Avenue is the best Pinoy food outlet....
I get my 50 pcs frozen lumpia / $25 (cash) here. Best lumpia around, good amount of filling and always crispy. Just have to call and order in advance, and make sure you clearly specify if you want it frozen or cooked. The other stuff is good too, haven't had anything there that didnt taste good. The arroz caldo was the first thing that brought me to this place.

Wow! You'd never guess such bold and comforting flavours would come from such an unassuming store front. Coffee In, despite its name, is no coffee shop-- it is a family-owned Filipino restaurant that serves food either to order, or from a hot table. While the restaurant is easy to miss, you most definitely should not miss it! We even had a chance to meet and chat with the owners which is always special; they are such hard workers who have made this little piece of home here in Scarborough.
Saw some good reviews and thought I would try it out. I had really been craving vegetable lumpia, but the ones I had were small with nothing in them and didnt come with vinegar. The pork skewer I had was very greasy and cold and disappointing. The fresh lumpia was alright, but overall disappointing experience. The service was not very friendly either and I felt like I was bothering them when I ordered.
I would've rank this place higher, if they have more popular choices. Services are great, fresh food & small great restaurant. Yeah, I just ordered the same as last time. It got worse. Missing sinigang soup on the side, I requested. There's no salad with tapsilog order (regularly it comes with it). Wth is happening here. Safe to say I'm not ordering anytime soon
