Half of the served beef is fat (thick, hard and non edible) they fill the container with chunks of carrot. Rice is overcooked. You can improve serving actual beef and keep an eye on the rice. Portion size is ok for the price but please serve what is actually advertised and don't trick customers.
I finally had a chance to eat lunch at Day’s Kitchen second branch after Althea’s parlour. Hubby ordered 2 Fresh Lumpia. To my surprise, it was huge and very authentic Filipino dish. They nailed it. Yummylicious! I ordered the trend sizzling “ Bulalo” and it was Filipino/ Canadian version because of the veggies. My daughter ordered Crispy Sinigang and she likes it with steam rice. We enjoyed our dine in experienced so as the food. I told their staff to tell Days before we left to tell the owner (Day’s) that Marlene came for a visit with her family and lots of stars. I will highly recommend this restaurant. And we should support the local businesses specially Filipino restaurants.One of them is Days Kitchen who’s resilient, hardworking and helping our kababayans by giving jobs to them. Check your receipt all the time. After few months of not buying there. Finally tried to buy and give em a chance! They still do the same tactic of over charging! If you dont compute it you will get charged extra! Did not even apologize or offer something! Really bever gonna trust this store again! The cashier that did this before was a lady and now still a lady but new lady! Happened the 4th time by the way
