I wouldn’t give this place a 0-star review, but my experience was disappointing. I went to the gas station and asked for $40 of regular gas. When I went back to fill up, the pump stopped at $7 and wouldn’t add any more gas. I went back inside and was told that I only paid $7, even though I clearly asked for $40. When I asked why this happened, the employee said he didn’t know and gave me an attitude instead of trying to help. His tone felt rude and dismissive. After that, I went to buy a drink and ice cream. While I was holding my items, the employee accused me of stealing. I had put my drink in my pocket, and before he finished speaking, I said “wait” because I knew it was in my pocket and was already taking it out. As I was removing it, he said that I still had the drink in my pocket. I did not hear him clearly at first and said “pardon me.” I then fully took the drink out. I was not trying to steal anything
I came to buy a beer on 10.55pm and the sales person her name ms. Gurjeet she said it’s already closed. I didn’t understand in Ontario all gas stations can sell alcohol until 11pm when show my phone to prove the time she said their system said last time was 10.45pm. I think they bring their own law. They should know in Canada every where have equal rights and law. totally I disappointed for her service.
Absolutely Horrible Customer Service – Elderly Woman Left in Freezing Cold If I could give zero stars, I would. My 64-year-old mother visited this Shell location (8301 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON) today between 2:45 PM and 3:10 PM to fuel up. She pre-paid as instructed, but when she went to pump, the employee Gagan refused to turn it on. My mother was left standing outside in freezing weather (felt like -20°C with the windchill) for 20 minutes, shivering and trying to get help. Instead of assisting her, Gagan used the PA system to yell at my mother multiple times, humiliating her in front of other customers. Even after other patrons tried to intervene, she continued to be rude, showing no empathy or basic decency. My mother was so cold and distressed that she ended up in tears. When I called the station less than 30 minutes after the incident to rectify the situation, Gagan answered the phone very rudely. However, the moment I mentioned that I was filing a formal complaint, her tone completely changed, and she suddenly became overly nice—a clear attempt to cover up her unacceptable behavior. On top of that, she blatantly lied, claiming that she had "just started her shift," even though she was the one responsible for mistreating my mother just moments earlier. This kind of inhumane, unprofessional, and deceitful behavior is completely unacceptable. No one—especially an elderly woman—should be treated this way. I strongly urge management to address this issue immediately and advise others to avoid this location if they expect even basic customer service.
The Indian man working behind the counter refused to sell liquor even though it was 10 o’clock. When ever other gas station is available till 11, honestly glad I went to esso down the street cause they had better options anyways
October 20, 2024 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stopped by this Shell station for a late-night fill-up, hoping to take advantage of the Air Miles and CAA bonuses I always appreciate. While the location was convenient, the attendant seemed quite tired and disengaged, which made the service feel underwhelming. I understand that night shifts can be challenging, but a bit more attentiveness would improve the experience. I also found it inconvenient that I couldn't scan my CAA and Air Miles cards from my phone at the pump, which added some hassle when paying at the window. Other than that, everything went smoothly.
Thank you to 1000's of my viewers for trusting my honest posts. This gas station is good in terms of space, staff, amenities, and most importantly, gas. The price is always less from all other gas stations. I am posting pictures from Aug 8, 2024. However, sometimes, I have noticed that the gas is not super clean, which reduces the milage. I will still recommend it. Thank you, Mr. Owner.
I am regular customer of this shell gas station since long time and services provided by other attendant was really appreciated but today it was bad experienced with one of the customer service attendant named as Prakriti…she was literally very rude with her trainee as well as with other customers…when i tried to ask her about my CAA 3 ct/ltr discount and AirMiles points on my slip she explained in a very arrogant way with unreasonable attitude…this is how Shell serving the customers along with their employees?
