This shop is a true hidden gem! I was referred by my good buddy to visit this shop and see Shanu, after I dealt with a stressful situation involving my car a few weeks ago. While driving to work, the check engine light came on, and I had to take the car to the dealership. The dealership said I had to replace my entire Y-pipe exhaust and one of the sensors. They quoted me around $5000! I was really stressed, but luckily my friend told me about Shanu. From the very beginning, Shanu was very polite and answered all the questions I had. He knew I was stressed and was very reassuring and understanding. We all work hard for our money, and he didn't want to see me get screwed over by the dealership. Upon inspecting my car, he told me that my exhausts were completely fine and that the dealership was trying to milk the situation! I did have a minor sensor issue, but Shanu resolved it quickly. He really came through and lifted a huge amount of stress off me. It's so hard to find a mechanic that's not only reliable, BUT ONE THAT'S ACTUALLY HONEST! I'm really glad I was referred by my buddy to visit Shanu, because he really is a mechanic that actually cares! I just got an oil change done at the shop by Shanu and his team, and I'm very impressed! They were quite busy, yet finished everything in less than an hour. They checked my winter tires, filter, and they even reset the maintenance schedule on my car! Honestly, why even go to the dealerships who want to scam you, when you can just support your local small business that actually care! Trust me, you're in great hands with Shanu and his team at Flame Auto Repair! The prices are very reasonable and more affordable compared to the dealerships. Whatever work you need done, Shanu and his crew can get it done!
