Ice cream tastes good but the lady working there is sooo rude. She speaks like she is doing a huge favor by serving the customer. Good luck creating a loyal customer base with that attitude.
I always come to Captain C Cakes and Ice Cream for my ice creams, but honestly, the lady that works there can be really rude at times. I came in to buy my regular ice creams and was also looking at the cakes because I wanted to get one. While I was still checking them out and asking about them, she literally just shut me down and went straight to saying, “So the total for the ice creams is….(with attitude) like she didn’t see me looking and asking about the cakes, not sure if she was in a rush doing something at the back but that’s not nice at all. I felt really rushed and put off by that , especially since I’m a regular customer. I still went ahead and bought the cake, but honestly the customer service was terrible. I don’t think I’ll be coming back again. The gentleman who works on weekends is nicer and more open and doesn’t make you feel rushed. He also packs the ice cream full and makes your money worth it.
Cliff the owner is always kind and courteous. Excellent customer service. Everything you try is great! Everyone must try it at least one time! For sure you'll be back.
Very disappointed. Everything was soggy and didn’t seem fresh. It tasted awful. Presentation was terrible. There is sooooo much better out there. No actual strawberry in tart either. No carrot on cake as advertised. Just cheap ingredients and lacking attention to detail and artistic flair and creativity. No baking skill whatsoever. Not the type of standard I’m used to.
My favourite place to get cupcakes. The staff is always super nice and the cupcakes are so yum. The icing tastes like cool whip and the cake is really decadent.The cake in a cup is also really good and a nice snack.The price is also very reasonable for the amount your getting, id say the cupcakes are larger than average. The ice cream is really good too. Support local!
I requested them to add a writing to the cake . They just ignored it . Worst cake I ever had in my lift time . Please do not waste money. It was a last minute decision to go with this shop seeing the reviews, but what a blunder . This shop just screwed my new year. Will never ever purchase from this shop and I do not recommend this shop to anyone . I'm not sure how they received these many good reviews.
I’m going to have to thank Dairy Queen for closing at 10pm, because otherwise I wouldn’t have found this place. Different flavours, all of them looked good. We got the banana and chocolate chip cookie dough. Delicious! Also, owner was very welcoming and sweet so definitely will be coming back.
