My son has so much more confidence since he started participating in programs at VV. He is legally blind, and at 6 years old, that can be difficult to navigate. He feels safe and happy with all the phenomenal people that work at VV. We hope to stay a part of the community for years to come.
Variety Village Gym is fabulous. They have every kind of exersize equipment you can imagine, a walking track, weight room, two pools as well as a warm shallow pool with jets. They have free classes with memberships, you can even pay small amounts to order massages and other services. They have a snack bar, and they cater to people with disabilities making it the safest place to get exersize.
Attended for the Ontario senior provincials weightlifting competition. Lots of parking, easy to navigate, a huge variety of amenities. Would join if I lived closer.
Nice bathtub temperature pool for newborn swimming and music playing. Also not restricted to specific hours for leisure swim, you can drop in anytime. Children under 2 are free with 1 caregiver, additional adult is $15 for a day pass.
Large indoor running track, with multiple courts. Weight rooms, treadmills and dojo. Meeting rooms and offices. Needs some general repairs and updates.
Good space. Great to be back here to see a round of special Olympics type sports. Always nice to see this gym area in a quiet area of Toronto. So much of investment in facilities to help people with special needs get mobilized. Great to meet many new people today.
Membership is preferred, but one time visits are accepted. Kids swimming classes are much more organized and well run than City run comparable swimming lessons. This place prides itself on accessibility. Wonderful staff and top notch facilities.
