Came in the morning and they were stocked! Everything was so fresh, this is my favourite spot for affordable handrolls ☺️ Love how they also offer soups now!
I am a sushi lover. But its an expensive taste. I really like this location better then the others. Food is fresh and taste. And be fair a reasonable price. When I have a sushi craving I go here. I got three spicy salmon rolls and a drink for $13.
My friends and I got to try out hand rolls from Maki Mart on Steeles. The place was super clean, and the staff person was cool. Expect there to be some hand rolls out of stock or low if you’re arriving near closing. It was easy to unpack and roll, the filling to rice ratio was great for the price, and the soy sauce container was very accommodating for a good eating experience. ദ്ദി(ᵔᗜᵔ) The lobster roll was our favourite
The store was clean but empty. Most of the rolls were sold out but all of the rolls I got were delicious. I reccomend the spicy squid. Service was nice and fast. I would come here for a snack again.
The maki were fresh and made well; sometimes you can tell if maki have been sitting around or refrigerated too long, but this wasn't the case here. They have a good deal of 3 Maki plus a drink for about $14. They have a decent selection, as well as a variety of drinks and snacks. The store front is facing a street, which helps with drive-by advertising, but if you're in the plaza itself (in the parking lot), you wouldn't even know it was there, which is a downside. The plaza itself has a lot of stores and eateries, so it tends to be busy, and parking can be hectic sometimes.
Foods are too good we don’t even have time to take pictures, bought 8 of each hand rolls and can’t tell which one is the best because they all too nice.
The attention to detail is magnificent! I picked up a few hand rolls and the employee at the register was amazing. He let me know of promotion being run and gave great recommendations for the drink selection. The rolls themselves are also amazing. I really enjoyed the spicy salmon and salmon Ikura ones and I also loved the small fish shaped soy sauce containers they came with. Will definitely be back! Just wished they offered some seating.
