The food is fresh and generally good, but the salt level has been extremely high — even dangerous — in my last 4–6 orders. The rotis and sabjis are always very salty. I kept ordering (6 times) thinking it would improve, but every time it was the same. I even mentioned it to the staff, and they said, “it’s always like this.” It’s honestly hard to eat because of how salty it is. I really hope the owner starts doing proper quality checks and random tasting, because this issue has been consistent every single time. I like the food, but unfortunately I won’t be ordering again unless this improves. People with heart issues or high blood pressure should avoid due to the excessive salt.
The golgappe were tasty and fresh, but the quantity of water provided was not enough for 8 pieces. The small container barely covered half of them, which affected the overall experience. I ate the rest pf them without flavoured water. It would be great if you could include more flavored water next time, as it’s an essential part of enjoying golgappe properly.
Had the worst Diwali experience. We ordered Veg Korma and Veg Kofta. The kofta had no kofta in it. We called the restaurant up to report this. I initially thought it was a mistake. Maybe they were flooded with orders for Diwali and tripped up. But for real, my phone call was disconnected mid way and none of my other follow up calls went through. Just kept being told the voicemail had not been activated. Shame on Namaste India for not even having the courtesy of addressing client issues.
I got a hair in the sweet that I bought. Informed them and they casually asked to come over to exchange it. I wouldn’t be wasting my fuel and time for the mistake on their end.
The vada pav and dabeli were really unpleasant. Both had a bad smell, almost like vomit, and the taste was equally awful. The food didn’t feel fresh at all and was completely disappointing.
Groceries first off! It's very well equipped for all typically traditional Culinary and cultural products. One stop shopping on a good budget as items are well priced! Restaurant take out style is fresh and yummy though sweets ate not to generic taste. Nonetheless heavenly store!
Best Gujarati daal in town. My expedition started with daal last year and since then I am regular visitor for daal , lasanya bateta, potato+brinjal and many other Gujju items. Jayesh bhai IS on top of his game in serving great food and treating clients well. One complaint, it is a ling drive from Maple to Scarborough but every drop of gasoline and time is worth !!!!
