I have ordered few times the food was great. All the time I ordered they made accordingly this time I asked for make fresh parota i was disappointed, they gave me the one made earlier the chicken kottu portion was one is big other one is less portion not even portion. but I love the kottu we enjoyed. Ok! so. couple of weeks later went again ordered for fresh parrota they made it thanks nice and delicious yummy thanks chefs.
Excellent customer service and tasty and delicious food. Fried rice and kothu Roti are aromatic and spices with herbs and amazing flavour and taste all over fabulous.
I went to this restaurant specifically for Sri Lankan Biriyani. Before placing my order, I double checked over the phone with the staff, and the girl assured me that they serve authentic Sri Lankan Biriyani, exactly like what we get back home. Last time I visited, a lady even recommended I try their Biriyani, saying it’s the real deal, and their Google profile also shows the same Sri Lankan Biriyani picture. Based on those promises, I ordered 8 portions for my family and drove all the way from Whitby to Scarborough. But what I received was NOT Sri Lankan Biriyani, it was a completely different style, more like a Hyderabad version, lacking flavor, spice, and authenticity. My family and I were extremely disappointed and felt cheated. We pay money for food, nothing is free here. Restaurants that mislead customers with false promises and fake pictures should not be in business. This place is nothing but a scam, lying to customers just to sell their bland food. I, and my entire family, will never step into this restaurant again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who is expecting genuine Sri Lankan food. If you want real Sri Lankan Biriyani, look elsewhere, this place is a waste of time, and money.
Food is very tasty here. This place is a hidden gem and worth the visit. Prices are also reasonable. My only complaint is that I ordered the lunch combo and ran out of rice and still had lots of curry remaining. I guess that’s a good complaint in some ways so not meant to be negative. I will just order extra rice next time around. Will definitely return. Also the seafood fried rice is amazing.
Ordered delivery from here and was blown away by the flavors and quality! Biriyani, string hoppers, and fish rolls were authentic, fresh, and delicious. Delivery was prompt and packaging was impressive. Can't recommend enough! 5/5 stars!
