I I've been trying to get my money back since 2021 to get my money back from Phillips autoin Scarborough who stole $8,500 from me for buying two vehicles and I return them back to him and he won't refund my money this all started in 2021 till now I'm still trying to fight to get my money back but I'm a single mom and I don't have money to take him to small claims court and I got the money to get the vehicles from my kids dad and I'm not trying to send anybody to jail but I do want my money back that's why I have not been to his office nor anybody has been to his office or try to confront him only person that confronted him was when he accepted the package from someone who I tried to hire to take him to court but then started asking extra money that I don't have nor does my kids father have I really need help we're in 2024 and nobody is willing to help me not mto nor omvic nor the police helped me in 2021 till now to try and resolve. I bought the two vehicles with agreement that the vehicles are going to be safety certified and they were not the engine light was on both vehicles and I gave them back to him right away and ask for my money back until today He still has not gave back my money And he has his cars And they were given back to him within the 30 day grace period And still no refund on money This is a bad dealership
The gentlemen at Philips Auto were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and were very accommodating. They went the extra mile without any hesitation. Have and will continue to recommend them to my family and friends.
Please don't buy from here, really bad experience from here recently(2022 feb). vehicle has complaints and I was stranded on highway within 30 days of purchase and parts are not covered with warranty, paint touchup done on the hood is pathetic. Overall, really bad experience.
The people are nice, but I have to change my review as not only did we have issues within 24 hours, we took it to an Audi mechanic after and experienced severe problems that should have been caught in a safety inspection. They offered to have us bring it back but I went to see what warranty said, this is 1 month after buying the car and a full transmission rebuild of an S4 was suggested. Only covered up to 3k. 6K build. Then now, just today have found out a wet clutch malfunction and the car is not driveable, sitting in a shop that specializes in S4s and warranty said is not covered as clutch wear and tear. It is a wet clutch which ideally is for life. I do not believe a safety was done. I have well documented everything and no way was paying the remainder as during the test drives it was fine, until you hit 70 KMs. So mad. Again, nice people but we are furious.

I would give six stars. But there were only 5 available. I was very impressed by the level of professionalism, honesty, and quality of the used vehicle I purchased. Above all these brothers really look out and care about any unforeseen issues that can possibly happen after the sale. If you are thinking of buying a used car, go see them. They are good people. Thanks guys for taking care of me a couple of times and good to know I was in good hands.
