Regarding building’s main entrance. On several occasions, I have noticed groups of individuals—whose residency status is unclear—waiting by the main door for someone to open it for them. This practice compromises the building’s security and undermines the purpose of the key fob access system. The current situation is quite alarming, as it raises questions about who is entering the building and whether only authorized tenants and their guests have access. The key fob system is intended to provide controlled, secure access, but it appears that this is not being enforced effectively. I strongly urge management to look into this matter as a priority. Enhanced security measures, such as signage reminding residents not to allow tailgating, camera monitoring, or reinforcing strict key fob use, may help mitigate this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that appropriate action will be taken to ensure the safety and security of all residents.
Good living space. Close to major intersection and bus stops. Walking distance to go train. Good responsive management team that addresses all concerns.
Worst building management, they do little care to keep the building clean and safe to live. Trash bins over flow, building infested with roaches, mice and bugs.
Heating control in the building is poor especially during the temperature changes. I have a room temperature monitor which sometimes shows around 18 to 19 c but if I tell the management they say that the build heat control is turned on and it is set to standard temperature. Building Wall and door insulation are very bad. Cold air leaks into the unit and it gets too cold in the winter causing the temperature to drop inside the unit. Apart from heating and insulation there are mice and roach issues as well. Mice get into the unit through the holes in the unit and I had to complain couple of times to seal the holes but it didn't stop them from coming in. Roach treatment has to be done regularly to keep the roach population from increasing. There are some people who smoke (cigars and stuff) in the stairwell and smoke weed that will seep through the apartment unit. It's high time that the CAPRIET makes note of all these issues and address them.
