Update: July 25th, 2025. I received a call yesterday from the Store Manager (I guess the other gentleman I was speaking to wasn’t the SM) who apologized for the issue and offered to exchange the battery, test it as it’s going out to make sure it’s good, extend the warranty by 6 months and provide me with two $25 gift certificates. I came in today and she had everything prepped and even tested the battery and showed me the voltage of 12.58v. I was happy. She gave me two $25 off a purchase of $100 or more coupons and apologized for the trouble again. I left and am happy they were able to rectify the problem. I will change my review to 4 stars based on the resolution. Thank you. Update: July 22nd, 2025. I received a generic reply today from Canadian Tire/Partsource stating they are sorry for my issue and that they will pass along my info to the “Regional Manager”. No promise of a call or rectifying of my issue. Terrible. I purchased a new battery with a three year warranty on June 3rd, 2022. Battery worked fine until April 26th, 2025 when it failed. I brought it in and they exchanged it. The second battery failed on July 10th. It was showing 5.6v which means that 3/6 cells inside somehow became detached and weren’t able to hold a charge. Took it in and they exchanged in. Four days later, July 14th the battery is show 10.5v. Ironically it was tested when it left as I asked the sales clerk to put his multimeter on it and it said 10.5v. He said it was because it was sitting on the shelf. I gave the benefit of the doubt and took it home. Today the car started very sluggish and I decided as it shows 10.5v and is having a hard time starting the car that it wasn’t from the battery sitting on the shelf as suggested. It seems it’s because it has one faulty cell as well. Took it into the Partsource store and the store manager said he wouldn’t exchange it. I get that they are out of warranty but this is the third battery since my in warranty claim 79 days ago. Warranty expired 41 days ago initially. This is the OE Pro-Series battery they exchanged. Model 40R. I would highly recommend against buying this brand of battery as the quality control is not there. Further more they are unwilling to assist if they have an “out” knowing their brand of battery is not living up to battery standards. Before I posted this review I went to the customer care section of their website and sent this exact complaint requesting a call from the district manager to assist. It has been 48 hours and no acknowledgment of my email and certainly no call. I will find other automotive parts retailers to provide my future business to as it seems Part Source is not committed to their customers.

I went to this location today to buy waiper the guy at the cashier he was good talking but gave me used waiper, I am going to return it tomorrow, hopefully they will exchange or give me my money back.
This store doesn't take responsibility for the mistake they did. I called them to ask if they have a specific part and they said we have it and when I went there feom along distance without the car they told me we don't have it and this is misunderstanding. Thats it!
I bought here my car battery 3 years ago. It was covered with 4 year warranty replacement. I went to the store and brought the battery (which is not working properly anymore) at first, the other employees were very helpful esp. I don't have my receipt/invoice as it was more than 3 years already. They tried to search my number in the system and my name, and it was there. They also checked the code etc of the battery. Then, the other guy came (The MANAGER) who told me, they really need the invoice/receipt as they were not sure if I reallt bought it at their location or in another.. I told him that that is the only location closer to my place. Then he told me, without the invoice, he can't do anything with it. and he walked-away.. not even tried to check in the system or to suggest any other way to help me. I was very frustrated.. Now.. I've searched the invoice everywhere in my place, Finally I saw it!! Tomorrow I'll go back and show them this receipt. When I get the replacement for my battery. I would NEVER EVER buy anything in this location!! Don't have prob with other employees.. except the MANAGER!! Bad customer service!
The entire staff is amazing but today I would like to highlight Stephanie. She was able to help with my battery even though it was giving a very hard time. She stayed determined and didn’t just turn me away. She was resourceful and made it happen. We need more people like her in the world. Entire experience was amazing, would definitely recommend this location to family and friends.
