The service is super quick and friendly. I dined in and noticed that they treat the Uber eats drivers with the same amount of respect and friendliness as their customers! Food itself is awesome and great portion-I couldn’t even finish all of it I had to pack the leftover home. Will definitely come again
Very delicious first time trying, small restaurant, Flavourful spicy taste that is not to spicy Very good prices and affordable. Would recommend if you’re close by or wanting to try something new. Friendly service
What a charming spot! The staff are immensely friendly, polite, and made us feel very welcome. The food was fantastic! Portion sizes are generous. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by.
If there is 0 scale I will make it here. Very disappointed service!! I expected to order on site for take out when I entered into the store, no one greeted me or asked for offering help for food ordering. There was no line up when I entered to the store. I thought I would be the next one to be served. However, the front lady kept serving the clients who are behind me in the line without "first come first serve" grounded. After she packing the food and delivering the food package of few people, who actually came a couple of minutes after me entering to the restaurant, she then took a little break and turned back to me. And then she told me I will have to wait for 40-50 mins if I order for take out. Me is like? After waiting period of around 15 mins, you now telling me that I have another waiting to make. I totally understand the restaurant is busy now and it's overwhelming. However, clients would have felt much better if you could had told us upfront take-out needs longer waiting, whoever not willing to wait could had alternative options. At least setting a good expectations upfront. Proactively manage clients' expectations will largely improve clients' experience. I don't mind waiting but I would more appreciate it if you could have told me how much longer time i need to wait. All in all, pls be proactive and try to approach to walked-in clients even though they didn't order thru APP, they deserve to be treated fairly and equally. Authentic SiChuan MaoCai. Taste is very competitive within Scarborough/Markham. I’m ordering for takeouts at least once every other week. A must try if u love spicy foods. Soup is delicious (probably No MSG as I don’t feel thirsty). Reasonable price with good quality. No tricks on TIPS. Owner is very friendly. Note, - instore seats are limited as it is a small restaurant mainly for takeouts - Please do order ahead of time via phone to avoid long waiting as the restaurant is very busy during peak hours. - Now, only 3 days a week... please consider opening on weekday nights? otherwise, let's call it "Lazy Lazy Spicy MAOCAI"
Very friendly and nice staff though store is small. Food taste great and portion is more than enough plus the price is good too. I will go again for sure.
