First time trying this place with my husband, surprisingly GOOD!! Ordered the pan fried bun, and 2 recommended dishes by the server: the mushroom cold dish and the noodle (? forgot about the name). They are all so tasty and good. especially the bun!! It’s juicy inside, outside is soft and the bottom is golden brown and crispy!! So good! Will definitely go back to try their other items!!
Excellent chinese resto with a diverse but delicious menu. Rice and noodle bowls are super filling and of course their pan fried buns are juicy and tasty. Lots of great apps and snacks that you can also try but we were to full to sample more. Great value, friendly service, and great food! What more could you ask for?
I came to try out this location because of the good experience at their other location on Kennedy Road in Markham. - A02 Fresh Pork Pan-Fried Buns: (A) - great taste and fresh ingredients! - G03 Braised Beef Noodle Soup: (E) - good flavor but there’re only a few pieces of beef and almost half is fat (see picture). It’s much better at the Kennedy Road store.
Simple comfort food. Good family spot. Lots of variety for everyone. Dumplings are not bad. Thin skin, good hot soupy goodness, just oily enough. Pumpkin dish sounds and looks promising but it is only ok. Pumpkins need to be sweater. And more seasoning needed. I would not order that again. Peanut noodles are very good though. Very tasty. Would definitely order again! The deep fried ribs are simple but very satisfying. Crispy, meaty and not too stringy. Great flavour that you do not tire from.
Went here for lunch, got the braised pork buns, pork soup dumplings, siu mai and honey garlic wings. Everything was good and food came out fast, the wings were super crispy, siu mai isn’t like the ones at din sum places but still good. Affordable and yummy
20251110 Update: Two more dishes added. Simply delicious. 20250604 Update: We come here again at 4pm after school and the food is delicious with a special deal menu. More photos added. 2025: I used to go to their restaurant on Kennedy. This is my first time coming to the restaurant in this location. The side dishes are inexpensive and delicious. Mango sago dessert is tasty. Chicken wings are even more crispy and crunchy and the pig intestines taste great. The restaurant is spacious and I hope there is less waiting time during the busy weekend in this location.
There’s a wide variety of items on the menu, with everything basically priced for $10 or less! The xiao long bao is one of the best, with a thin well made wrapper and juicy pork filling. The braised pan fried pork buns are a must order for us, as well as the pan fried pork dumplings. They also have noodle and rice dishes which are all tasty. Some other dishes we tried include the sweet potato fries, green onion pancakes, popcorn chicken, red bean pancake, and chicken wings. All the dishes here are great and fairly cheap, so you can order multiple dishes a person! Service was also great. The workers were very attentive, kind, and helpful, and our dishes came fairly quickly.
