I’ve been here time and time again and the care I received exceeds any walk in clinic I’ve been to in Scarborough/GTA. Dr. Arshviny is one of the best doctors in Toronto without a doubt.
I would strongly recommend Dr. Nirmaladevi. I would not read the reviews or look at the rating. She has been an excellent and caring doctor for our family. She takes time and does her work thoroughly so if you are waiting for a bit (which is very common and is what I have faced at all health services locations in Canada) or having occasional minor delays with front desk to return call- I would recommend accepting due to the care, thoroughness, follow up, support in rescheduling, prompt reference (if required) and friendliness provided by Dr. Nirmala. Mainly, I have not had a crowded feeling in the clinic which makes a huge difference for a patient and ensures patient gets required attention.
I’ve been a patient at Ratnam Medical Clinic for the past year, and I can confidently say that both physicians at the clinic demonstrate not only strong clinical expertise but also a genuine compassion and dedication to their patients. Dr. Nirmala, in particular, has always taken the time to listen to me carefully, explaining things clearly, and never rushing through appointments — which is something I’ve come to deeply appreciate, especially in today’s fast-paced healthcare system. It’s honestly surprising to see some of the mixed reviews, as my own experience — and the experiences of the friends and family I’ve referred — have been consistently positive. Of course, healthcare is deeply personal, and every patient’s situation is unique. But based on my interactions, Dr. Nirmala has been the best family doc and professional in every encounter — whether for routine or for more complex concerns. I know I’m in safe hands, feel reassured, and well cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Nirmala (Ratnam) to anyone seeking a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and compassionate family physician.
I was disappointed with the care provided by Dr. Nirmladevi After my test results came in, I never receive any follow-up or communication, which made me feel neglected and unsupported.I wanna give minus star to her.she was my family doctor doctor and in her absence , I went to dr Arshvani On the other hand, Dr. Arshvani has been wonderful—she is polite, attentive, and communicates clearly. Her professionalism and understanding made a big difference in my experience. Guys don’t choose dr nirmladevi
Cut the gaslighting on your patients' Google reviews! It's not only unprofessional but downright unethical for a medical practice to behave this way. Based on the condescending responses you've left for patients, I wouldn't even consider stepping foot in this clinic! **For context - it took you 5 days to return my most recent voicemail, which only came about an hour after I wrote this review. But it took you less than 3 hours to respond to my google review. Thank you for proving my point. You put greater value on "responding to complaints" than preventing them in the first place. As an Ontarian, I deserve better. I was referred to Ratnam Medical Clinic through Healthcare Connect after waiting 16 months to be assigned a general practitioner. I was told the clinic would contact me to schedule an initial consultation, but after 2 months of silence, I had to call them myself. Despite calling three times and leaving two voicemails, I’ve yet to receive a single response. This is an unacceptable failure of duty by a medical clinic. Health concerns don’t disappear because a clinic can’t properly manage its staff or operations, and it’s clear that the physician is inexperienced and incapable of managing patient care or workflow. I’ve since learned I’m not the only one to experience this level of neglect—others have made similar complaints in recent months. Perhaps if this clinic spent less time responding to Google reviews and more time returning patients' calls, they could actually provide the care they’re supposed to. I have filed a complaint with Healthcare Connect and will be filing with the Ombudsman of Ontario and strongly encourage others to do the same. Lastly, what an oddly chosen name for a medical clinic.
I went to Ratnam clinic for a walk-in and Dr. Arshviny made the experience quick and comfortable! She explained everything she was doing, and explained exactly what my issue was, along with next steps. Best clinical experience I have had in the past 20 years!
I got referred to Dr. Arshviny from Health Care Connect. I'd say so far so good. I've only had the initial consult and a follow-up session today. During the initial consult, Dr. Arshviny was pleasant and she was attentive. She did not try to rush me out and she was quite good at pinpointing what maybe causing some issues to my health. I had to do some basic blood work and she was able to get it for me no problem. I had to call the office to follow-up on the blood work myself (although I was initially told that the doctor will call me when the results arrive), which is not ideal... However, I know stuff falls through the crack and my stuff was not a life-or-death situation. I'd say the family doctor experience I am getting is above average and I'd recommend this clinic and Dr. Arshviny O.
