Stumbled upon here looking for sea moss. Picked up a delicious flakey, buttery patty, Jerk chicken sauce/marinade and organic sea moss. Owner, Mickael was super friendly. He offers a grocery store and catering services. Will try them out sometime. Recommend to check out if in the area!
It's small, but it is full of heart. The owner is an amazing guy. The location is very clean and they treat everyone like family. Please go and show them some love and support the culture.
Ordered a jerk chicken sandwich, description states it comes with coco bread.. it came with white bread. I ordered jerk chicken and rice and peas with oxtail gravy.. they gave me chicken and rice with some red sauce It tastes like ketchup.
I just ordered 5 jerk chicken sandwiches for my family and EVERY SINGLE BITE had bones!!! I don’t think bones should be in a sandwich. Rice and chicken with bones is okay but who would want bones in every bite of a sandwich!! I feel like we got the scrap pieces of jerk chicken. Lots of cartilage, bones and bone shards. Very disappointing.
Ordered their red peas soup last week when I was feeling a little sick. With red peas soup you never know what you're going to get, but theirs had the right amount of dumplin, beef, potato etc so the soup was filling. Would definitely be ordering again.
My go to spot in Scarborough food is always great. Some of my favourites are Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat & Ackee & Saltfish with boiled dumplings. A grocery combined with a take out food always have fresh ingredients
This is one of my favourite restaurants. The people are amazing, friendly and attentive always. The prices are great and they always have the best jerk chicken in the Scarborough area
