I love this place! Henry & team are all awesome. They helped me get rid of a set from elsewhere that caused a bad reaction, and I haven’t stopped coming back since! They can do many of the designs I ask for and the prices are so incredibly affordable. Henry is great at shaping and working on you fast. Andy is who I see most times and he takes his time on you and is always trying to be as gentle as possible which I appreciate since I have smaller nail beds. I look forward to trying their pedicure services in the future. Added bonus if you love animals, they have the cutest shop dog Leo who is just so friendly with everyone.
Henry’s and his teams knowledge and attention to detail are unmatched—he truly does the best nails in town! But please understand, this is his business, and he sets the rules. He’s kind and professional, but he doesn’t owe you anything beyond doing his job and delivering amazing service. So, come with a good attitude, be respectful, and consider other clients who are there to relax and enjoy their appointment without distractions. Highly recommend Henry for top-notch nails
No Compassion for old people. Had booked 1 week and in person, was very specific, My Mum in wheelchair, and needed specific accommodation one of which, To Not make her wait too long, someone gentle, access to the closest chair from the door. None of this happen, they sent a reminder 15 mins before the appointment Yet, once we got there, the spot taken, the guy that was supposed to do her mani/pedi has decided to take on someone else, and according to him, a quick nail polish replacement. No apologies, 20 minutes into it, we are still waiting. My brother was taken in first, while my Mother was still waiting. I complained, again No apology from any one of them, the guy just said, let’s cancel, wipe clean my brother’s feet and that’s it. We’ve been to this place numerous times, in fact for years now, my mum been asking everyone to buy her gift certificate from that place, that she uses throughout the year. Very Dissatisfied, Disappointing, disgusting and utterly disrespectful. Under the Ontario human code, person with disabilities have the right to equal treatment in accessing services such as those provided by restaurants, shops, spas etc. I will be launching a complaint.
I am so glad I was treated badly at Pedi n Nails, Morningside scarborough location. Because now I have found my new nail tech.. who understood the assignment. I am so happy with the outcome. I loved how everything was explained to me before, and during the session the communication was excellent. We chatted and got to know a little about each other. I highly recommend going to Pink Nails and Spa because you will leave more than satisfied with the service. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, including the little dog Leo....just adorable. My Nails came out perfect, better than what I expected and way, way better than what I get from Pedi n nails. Thank you Henry, you did an excellent job and have gained a new loyal customer.
I’ve been coming to this salon for a few months now. The first time I got my nails done for my birthday, I received an amazing set. The second time I got my nails done, it was only okay. I came with my mother to get her nails done for Mother’s Day. My mom requested the nail design (the photo in the middle). The nail tech ended up cutting her nails, filing them down unevenly. My mom had to tell her during the manicure to fix the shape of her nails (almost the entire time). Her thumbs are two different shapes & length. The French tip looked so unevenly that she added a gold line to cover it. The flower colour & opacity are both different, especially in size. After her manicure was finish, my mom was extremely unhappy with her nails & ended up hiding her hands. My mom doesn’t normally get manicures & it took me a long time to convince her to get her nails done & this was the experience she was left with. The cost was $45 which based on the services provided is not adequate for what she received. I’ve had my manicure done at this salon twice before. This manicure was the worst for me. The nail tech showed up late to the salon so I had to wait 10 minutes in my car. When I came in, my tech was rushing. She was drilling so close to my skin that she cut the sizes of my fingers multiple times & I was bleeding after the manicure. If you zoom in in the photo, you can see the spots that I am bleeding. She started to rush after the French tip & didn’t place the cherries in the same spots as the inspo photos. After the manicure, my skin took about 3 days to heal from the cuts & hanging skin. I message the owner (Henry) on Instagram to notify him of my & my moms experience at his salon & he responded only to notify me that he’d need to speak to the nail tech but then continued to be non-responsive. It’s disheartening to have had such an experience based on my previous visits & I won’t be returning. I caution those who visit this salon. After posting my response, the nail staff has responded below. To insist that I’ve alter the nails is baffling. This was the work that was performed by your team. The unprofessional service & inconsistent work speaks wonders to the team & service.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE @ PINK NAIL LAWRENCE AVE E & SCARBOROUGH GULFCLUB RD. SCARBOROUGH OWNER & STAFF LIES AND UNETHICAL BEHAVIORS I went to this place for the second time to get a pedicure and nails filled. The first time was a day before Caribana festival. That day, I did full nails (way over board with designs) $85, eye browse waxed $10 and temporary shade-in $30, pedicure $35. I gave the owner and 2 others $5 ($15) each. I went back to get a fill and pedicure on Monday September 10th 2023. I told the toe nail tech that she had forgotten to put top coat on my toe nails while I was getting my nails done She and the owner insisted that she did. They said they will look on the video camera. I said go ahead. I can't believe the attacks, disrespect and rude behaviors by owner. I sat in the chair with tears streaming down my face because of the bullying and verbal attacks. I have never been humiliated in this way living in Canada 60 years & my 65 years of life. He stated, I always come there and caused trouble. I said you're getting me mix-up with someone else. He continued to curse me out in the worst ways with profanities and then telling me not to come back there. I would never dared go back to this place again.
Always love the results . I do my finger nails with Henry and my feet with Hugo. They both ensure great customer service and take great pride in the work they do to ensure you are a happy customer. Highly recommend their services.
