A typical SDM with a cosmetics area, a dry goods food and frozen foods section, a Pharmacy section for all your vaccine needs, a lottery terminal with a poor scratch ticket selection and even a magazine section for those who still read. The occasional food and toilet paper/tissue deal will make this place a worthwhile stop but keep in mind there's usually on one human cashier which can make the non-self-checkout line excruciatingly long, slow and frustrating.
I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a deeply upsetting experience I had at your store today. The cashier named Kamal on duty displayed an extremely rude attitude and, more disturbingly, behaved in a manner that I believe was racially discriminatory. I was treated with disrespect, and their tone and behavior were noticeably different compared to how they interacted with other customers. This experience left me feeling humiliated and unwelcome. I urge your management team to take this matter seriously and look into it. No customer should ever have to experience such treatment, and I hope appropriate actions will be taken to ensure this does not happen again to anyone else.
This long-standing location is presently seeing renovations to its cosmetics section, and its mall entrance is closed, but it continues to cater well to its customer base. The space seems rather tight and sees lines at times, though it does not look to be understaffed. It pretty much functions well as a convenience rather than a destination, with the other stores nearby.
I deal with Costco for my pharmacy, but I'm here regularly because it's the closest to my house and my wife prefers convenience over lower dispensing fees. Whenever I find myself stuck here, my favorite activity is to see just how overpriced this location is for every single item. Even over regular Loblaws owned stores. And the results are quite shocking how much of a markup this store applies to pretty much every single item they sell. There's usually an added cost for convenience, but this is nuts.
Called the pharmacy to enquire about vaccination but no one was answering the phones! So I went there myself and I asked my question and to my surprise, the middle aged asian lady said she doesn't know what that is! I was asking about meningococcal shots which apparently a health professional didn't know about! She, then asked me to go to my doctor, get a prescription, come back, and they will dispense and administer the shot for a disease she never heard of
Most of the products in the store were on sale. We went to buy them but they didn't give us a discount. We spent more than 200 dollars. The next day, we went to ask her to help us make up the difference in the presto card. She said she couldn't do it. She asked us to bring all the things we bought in good condition and then refund us the money. This is not our customer's fault, it's the cashier's fault. Why didn't they make up the difference? The woman looked indifferent. It seemed that shoppers didn't care about customers and thought that customers could come or not. The cashier‘s attitude is very bad!!!
I just called this pharmacy and the pharmacist was very knowledgeable. They also picked up the call right away no long wait times. Will be calling this pharmacy for any other inquires.
