I was having trouble with my horn. And Rick without hesitation, got his big hands in the right areas and tuned up my horn no problem. Great guy. He fixed my car too!
If you are looking for a good, trustworthy mechanic you have found it - Rick can fix any problem with our family cars, and there have been quite a few over the years! They always find time to fit in our oil changes, tire changes, leaks, mystery problems... Fair prices, solid quality work, overall great mechanic shop - I can't believe it took me so many years to get around to writing a review for this place!
The customer service at this establishment is A ++ I was driving from out of town to Montreal and my vehicle was dragging underneath. They took me in right away to help me get back on the road asap. Not only did they do this but also discussed with me my wishes and gave advise on the best way to handle the issue. I've experienced garages in the past that talk down to women, not the case here. Great bunch of guys. If I was local, this would be my new mechanic!!!!
My car didn't start and CAA told me it was an alternator problem. As I was looking for a high rating mechanic in google, I came across Davidson Automotive Service. Read the comments to check if reviews are legit. So I called them to ask if they are available to check my car. Rick accommodated me and immediately diagnosed my car. After 5-10 mins of checking, he came back to me said, we found the problem and it's a simple fix. Already fixed it for you. When I asked him how much do I owe him, he didnt want to charge me anything even if I insisted to pay. Such a great honest guy!! Would definitely be coming back. I found my mechanic!!
Received a pleasant welcome as I was looking for a quick fix to my car. Robin was willing to help during his busy time in the shop. He was very professional and had a positive attitude as he explained the issue to me. Will definitely think of them if any issues arises with my car *knock on wood* :)
First, I would like to say that I have been using Davidson Automotive for years now and will continue too. Rick runs his business professionally and efficiently and also shares his appreciation of your business in return. Throughout the years, I have noticed him do kind gestures from offering free products too and including free services. These token gestures do not go unnoticed. I finally have the opportunity to share my experience now. Most recently life has not been great for me (very challenging) and when people like (Rick) show care, compassion and a human side to his personality and his business, it really means the world and deserves to be shared. I don't want to make this a novel and get into great detail as to what he did. I just want people to know that not only does he offer professional work, I've never felt he was trying sell me work that didn't need to be done. He has be there for me in times of need and then not charge me. I was very impressed and grateful. ( I believe this is a common service he offers) BRAVO Rick! As well, he has tried to reduce my bill where he could knowing my difficult position. I recognize he has a business to run and may not be able to offer this often but, it is truly appreciated when he does. Overall, what I want to say is, it's nice to know a genuine mechanic (human) and business owner with whom you can trust. Sadly, this is not common, as we all know. WELL DONE RICK!!
Who told these guys to save be money? Rick is the best. I went in expecting to pay and the invoice was less than I expected. Yes please thank you. Struts and exhaust are brand new again. Free diagnostic, very professional garage, suggestions of repair or replacement are customers choice, completion within a timely manner.
