The cakes here are always delicious — the caterpillar cake especially reminds me of my childhood. I come here often. However, the service at checkout is not very friendly. Today I asked about getting a membership card, and the cashier said it requires a $40 purchase. I was paying about $20 and offered to buy more right away to reach the amount, but was told split payments don’t count. I found this confusing and a bit disappointing.
Frankly they made me wait for a part of the order they didn't had. While order was placed in advance. I told them the portion of the order can be left. But still they didn't listen. Unprofessional.
Staff embarrassingly slow. They were allowing multiple people to pay separately on multiple bills when there is a line up of customers waiting to pay is beyond bad service. Left and purchased at another bakery in the mall, no need to visit again when there are multiple choices in the mall with better service. You need to do better.
The fist time I got introduced to this bakery was at the location inside Woodside mall. I bought so many different items since it was on promotion to celebrate the opening of finch and warden location. They were all so fresh and yummy, especially for the pork floss mini cake, the pork floss is so crunchy and it even beats the professional store which makes the same thing. However, yesterday I went to the finch and warden location and bought the same item. It’s not fresh. The sponge cake has the refrigerator tastes which I can tell it’s been stored in the fridge for a few days and the pork floss is very soft ( no longer crunch as when it’s just freshly made). And for the Korean style fried chicken bun, the sauce is not strong enough. Not as tasty as the Woodside mall location. I am very disappointed since I trust this brand so much and I even bought over $40 of different bakery items to get a VIP card. Even though the finch and warden is closer to my home, I have to go to the further location now. But I have to be honest for the service, it’s always good and staff would spend time to make recommendations and very patient. Just wish the new store can have the same standard as the flag shop store at finch and MacCowan.
Beautiful clean and vibrant new Chinese bakery shop. They have varieties of desserts and pastries to choose from. My favorite is the mango cake. It is clean and staffs are very welcoming. When you buy 6 items, no taxes. Good deal
This is a newly opened cozy & clean bakery & dessert cafe inside the Bridlewood mall. Plenty parking at the mall. Excellent customer service, the lady Ying is very attentive and friendly. She let us tried their Matcha & Tiramisu cakes as well as their chocolate cookie. They taste delicious and fresh. They offer HK style buns, cakes, pastries as well as desserts. Their pastries are presented nicely in their display cases. They also have a lucky prize worth $28 for the individuals who are #66 & #88 customers everyday. It sounds fun! They only accept cash and debit cards. No credit cards. Buy any 6 buns and you don’t pay any taxes, add $1.00 for lemon ice tea or $1.50 for HK style milk tea or coffee. It is affiliated to its next door neighbour, the Blooming Garden Chinese Cuisine Restaurant. Definitely visit again & recommend to friends and family.
Amazing milk shredded bread, my whole family loves it so much. Cakes are fresh and delicious. My mother-in-law's favorite is green tea and red bean cake. Their sweet level is perfect for aged. Best review for ever
