Lets first put. There chicken roti here is 10/10. Great amount of spice. Very nice taste. The amount of selection for bakery items here is great! I wish i lived in the area. Thanks ladies !
I’ve been coming here for 4 years since I moved to Pickering from Toronto, this place is very special to me, my mother unfortunately passed away a decade ago and I never learned to cook the delicious Guyanese food she always made for me. The curry, chowmein, cheeserolls, and Guyanese beef patties remind me of that home cooking and coming here brings back that memory, thankyou, it means a lot more than I can express on a Google review.
I recently went here..I felt disappointed with many the food and pastries are very expensive and portions were small compared to the price. The pastries didn’t really taste authentic Guyanese to me at all. There’s a lot of hype and good marketing. The staff is very nice the place it self is clean
Excellent Guyanese grocery and snack shop with plenty of great options. Goat roti here is delicious and the hot sauce has much flavour! Definitely a great place to satisfy your roti cravings!
Definitely a great atmosphere and options in the grocery section of the store. The hot food choices are amazing and the pastries are good. Didn't like the pepperpot when I tried it last year but maybe that's a sign that I make it myself lol. Highly recommend this place to any and everyone looking to try some Guyanese food and items! The beautiful thing about is you are essentially trying cuisine from Africa, Portugal, Amerindian tribes, Chinese, Indian and European all in one infusion.
I love this local Guyanese spot. I get all my favorite foods anytime I want. Bake n fish is classic and delicious. Bake chicken is also delicious nice spice too. Plus all the pinetarts my heart desires. The queen Shereen is the best . All staff are welcoming and want to feed you. So get some food. Thanks!
I'm glad I discovered this place for real East Caribbean cooking. I love the patties and cook up.Roti is great too. There is a good assortment of grocery products as well. The space is clean and well maintained, which is essential in this era. The customer service is impeccable and friendly.
