Really poor customer service. I came in to grab the Big Mac banh mi and Nashville hot chicken banh mi and both the cook and the cashier complained that it would take 15 minutes each. They told me I just added 30 minutes to their life. They made fun of me and told me to just order something off the regular menu, and that I wasn’t even a banh mi guy. Didn’t know that it was such an inconvenience to grab food from here. I’d stay away and just give another deserving business your money.
The owners are so friendly smd accommodating. I wanted to bring some home to my husband so I asked to separate the veggies so it wouldn't go soggy as I was taking TTC downtown. Their Bahn Mi are in my top 3 ever! The bread is so fresh and the fillings are generous. I tried the BBQ chicken and the Rib one also. The Smash Tacos were also delicious. I picked up some day old buns for $5/ bag and they still tasted fresh! Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend
Not updated with latest hours of operation, didn’t get to go in on Friday July 18. Went all the way there to see a paper sign that says opens at noon. Wish they updated that here.
Love this place - it’s a little hidden gem that serves amazing food and baked goods. I normally have the veggie banh mi sandwich but today had the shrimp. Soooo good!
Came here for simple banh mi walk in and walk out, didn’t realized I would be presented with an attitude like I owed an apology… food was good but the attitude itself made the food taste meh, I couldn’t properly enjoy my food knowing it was filled with an attitude
What a delicious way to cap off my boys school year having finished their last exams today than with some yum portable banh mi for lunch with their classmates poolside on the hottest day yet! I've been meaning to check out this cute Chinese bakery, and visit the lovely family-run business owners. I have missed Victor's innovative menu creations during his Chino Loco days, and now he's closer too (in a very easy to park plaza). I picked up an assortment of banh mi, ranging from their grilled meats, to honey garlic bbq pork to their cool June flavour of the month Gochujang chicken with cucumbers and homemade kimchi! Their buns are closer to French baguettes with a nice chew giving a delightful contrast to the succulent filling. I had such a nice conversation with Grace, who has this bakery in her blood since childhood and is looking to strike a balance with classic and trendy offerings. So happy to pick up some Chinese pastries too- beef, curry beef and pork pastries for a snack later. Looks golden flaky goood. I think the addition of banh mi with the limited change up of flavours keeps it fun and fresh! My twins and their friends really enjoyed it Thank you. Next time, we will try their serve yourself banh mi charcuterie boards. Do yourself a favour, and drop by for a range of delicious baked goods and banh mi. Perfect for picnics, eat on-the-go and yes, like today by the much needed cool pool!
It’s sad that I can’t give negative gradings. Ordered vegetarian sandwich and even called in advance to make sure they do offer vegetarian options today. Turned out they sold me a sandwich with only vegetables, no tofu at all!! What’s the point of having a menu then? Suppose the customers are blind and can’t read? Lack an attitude to deal with unsatisfied orders !!
