We’ve been coming here for 5yrs all the way from West end to regularly service our manual Honda Civic, also did safety here. Very amicable and knowledgeable crew! Absolutely trust them with anything car related. Highly recommended!
Lovely people. Left my car there this morning and when i came back we couldnt find the problem but he gave us a advice and what the problem might be before and how we can test it. Had the car for the whole day and didnt charge us for that just told us we are good to go. These are just one of my experiences with these guys honestly people and i love that and would trust my car with them any time there is a problem. I look forward to doing business with them and again and everybody that comes there should too.
I have been with them for more than seven years and have never felt the need to go somewhere else. Never overcharged or overexaggerted. Very professional, trustworthy, and friendly. I would recommend
The first time I went to this place for an AC compressor replacement, he charged me for three hours of labour even though the job was completed in just one hour. When I questioned it, he said he charges for his experience, not just the hours worked. The second time, I brought my car in for a radiator replacement, and he quoted me $900, plus an additional $250 for extra work he claimed was necessary. I went to another mechanic and had the whole job done for $250 total. Don’t get overcharged in this shop.
Honestly, this is hands-down one of the best mechanic shops I’ve ever been to. Everyone there is super friendly, honest, and just really easy to talk to. I never feel like I’m being upsold or taken advantage of, which is such a relief. They’re reliable, the work is always solid, and I’ve never had a single issue with the service. Just good people doing great work — highly recommend!
November 2025 A few years after my initial review, I must say that I'm still very pleased with this garage. They're always nice, accommodating & transparent about what they're doing. Yesterday, I noticed something wrong with the exhaust. Today, they said to bring it in. I know it depends upon how busy they are & how complex my issue is but I didn't get a chance to go home because luckily they were able to work on it immediately. All done and, once again, I'm a happy & loyal customer *********************************************** ORIGINAL REVIEW from a few years ago: I needed to find a garage open Saturdays. Searched Google and found A1 had great reviews. Went down there & got a good vibe from them. Very friendly, all of them. They explained what they noticed and what they planned to do. Did not get the feeling of them trying to upsell or rip me off like I've experienced in the past with some other garages. They're professional & honest; I trust their opinions. I've now found my place to take the car should I need servicing. Thanks to King, Neil, Jay & all the others. Highly recommended
my car needed some exhaust and new cats according to these guys.after spending close to 1500 $ the engine light came back. this time it cost me another 200$ and was told the problem will never come back. sure enough it did after a few months.Cant pass emission since that was around back then. Took the car to dealer only to tell me there was an illegal device installed in the oxygen censor.they would not touch it. had to get rid of my beloved pontiac
