Went to Bargin Shark today after raving about the great products and great prices to my family only to be stopped at the front of the store AFTER I paid for the products I shopped for and was asked if I “paid” for the products that I was holding in my hands. Unprofessional and no level of customer service.
Walked into this store and have never had an issue until today. I was accused within 30 seconds of walking in asking if the bag I owned was mine. I asked her to check the cameras to see when I walked into with my personal bag. A manager came to me later on telling me that I wasn’t allowed to have the type of bag (a tote bag) I did and that she could lock it up at the front of the store. I asked her if there was a sign indicating that we weren’t allowed to have these type of bags. She has no response. How embarrassing that I was with my entire family. I value respectful customer service and believe all customers should be treated with dignity.
This place is the best! In the last few months I placed about ten orders. It's a bit addictive. Products are always high quality and fast processing. I usually get my deliveries within a day. Today I placed an order and within an hour it was with the shipping company. Typically I get orders between 1 and 3 days, depending on the day ordered. I have never yet had an item that was out of stock. Even when it shows low inventory, if the order is placed it's fulfilled which shows they have great inventory tracking. Looking forward to many more products and deliveries!
I had a terrible experience at Bargain Shark on Victoria Park. These guys are scummy — they threw in extra charges and added products I never agreed to buy. If you don’t catch it right away, they’ll act like it’s your fault and refuse to give your money back. They rely on customers not paying close attention. It's deliberate and shady. I only noticed because I double-checked my receipt, and even then, the staff gave me the runaround. Absolutely no accountability or respect for customers. Check your receipt before you leave — better yet, just don’t shop here.
**Great Service & Quality!** I had a fantastic experience purchasing from Manufacturer Warehouse/Bargain Shark! The product was high-quality, shipped quickly, and arrived in perfect condition. Barbara, the store manager, was incredibly helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this store and will definitely be shopping here again!
Some good deals, some not so good deals on typical dollar store and liquidation items. As with any discount store it’s best to know your prices. I did get a good deal on a $30 jacket and some work socks. Stock varies and it’s cash only with an atm in the store.
Was made to leave behind my grocery bag as I entered, and a staff member put it somewhere near the frontof the store. When i went to pick it up, they didn't know where it was. Two staff looked for it, but I was the one who found it randomly sitting near a cash register unatended. They really need to do a better job of securing people's personal items! Especially as the holiday shopping picks up and people walk around with lots of bags.
