The lady owner at M&A is very horrible. We bought a pot here and unfortunately had to return it. There were no returns only exchanges although this is t advertised or mentioned upon cashing out. We exchanged it for a smaller pot but she wouldn’t give us the $20 difference and after picking up a few other items she still wouldn’t give us back $10! Basically forced us to buy stuff. For a place that’s always playing devotional music you are horrible. Even her staff seems uncomfortable dealing with her. I definitely will not shop there again! There are cheaper stores with better quality items I only shopped here because it was convinced at the time. Never again!!!… one star is way too much stars to give this place
Came here by mistake looking for Charlie's but it's the best mistake! The staff was so friendly and offered very helpful suggestions. They had everything that I was looking for. I'm from Calgary and we don't get great selection of Caribbean products out there so it was so nice to be able to get the "good stuff"!! I even made some requests like full boxes of candy bars and they were able to accommodate. They packed all my pepper sauce bottles into a box neatly for me to get them home safely and I really appreciated it! Will definitely be visiting again when I'm back in the area!!
I used to love going to this store always had good snacks until Covid hit and I noticed the snacks were expired not just some most of them and I mentioned to the owner and they told me no it’s not. Took me months to go back and they do not accept medically exempt people unless you have a “medical card” from your doctor, the signs on the door they made themselves not the Toronto By-law where it clearly shows you “DO NOT” need to show proof of medical condition. Its was four of them trying to say I was wrong so I left. Training is needed on the disability act and Charter of Rights.
